If I could I would give 100 starts to Dr Levine and all of his staff. The staff couldn't be more pleasant, accommodating and helpful. Normally when you walk into a periodontists office about to have gum work done you're nervous and uneasy That's not the case when you go to Dr Levine's office . The staff puts you at ease immediately. And then there's Dr Levine ! He is THE consummate professional. He is kind, informative, caring and personable. His work is top notch, hands down he's the best ! AND He gives out his personal cell phone number to his patients to call if they have any concerns . BUT Before you would even get a chance to call Dr Levine if you're having a problem ...he'd beat you to it. He calls and checks on you after every procedure. ... Whether you just did one little area or your entire mouth he calls and checks in AND prepares you for what you might expect the next day . I wouldn't trust my mouth to any other periodontist. Dr. Kenneth Levine is - in a word - excellent. I have needed multiple surgeries for bone/ gum grafts and implants; he has been totally professional, warm, and supportive throughout. What other dentist would call the night before surgery and the day after just to check in? I have also experienced minimal pain after the procedures. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!: Back in August 2021, I went to see Doctor Levine to quote me on a Periodontal Surgery. His Treatment Coordinator quoted me $4,549 for the procedure. I presented her with my dental insurance card and she told me that the insurance estimate would cover $2,274 and I would only owe $2,275, but if I paid my out-off -pocket in full, I would only owe $2,165. I went ahead and paid the agreed $2,165 and had the surgery. After several weeks, I received a statement from them telling me that the insurance covered only $600 and that I now owe them the balance of $1,539. When I called the Treatment Coordinator to ask why the insurance only covered $600 instead of $2,274 she said, "that was only an estimate" and did not want to make any effort of honoring their estimate. I asked to speak to the Doctor directly and she said that there was nothing to talk about in a very rude tone. I could understand if the estimate was off by a few hundred dollar, but not by $1,539!!! It is very disappointing that they would quote you an amount and then they would not honor it after they rendered the service. What is the purpose of providing an estimate if it will be completely off? They do not seem to know how to run insurance estimates or how to submit charges to them. (Or they simply don't care!!) I do not recommend this doctor ever!!!!! read more

Dr Kenneth R. Levin is one of the BEST Peridontist I have been to. He performed two of my periodontal surgeries, and both times I experience no swelling, no pain, and most of all, I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Levin and his staff are very friendly and they made me feel like one of their family. For excellent periodontal care and surgery, I recommend this office, traveling from New York to Florida is worth the trip. read more

Dr. Levine charges $2400 to $3700 to pull a tooth. I was referred to Dr. Levine by a friend's dentist and I'm quite sure there's a referral fee system in place. I trusted the dentist and I was negligent for not checking the cost with other dental professionals. The going rate for pulling a tooth I now know is about $400, big difference between $400 and $2400+. For someone who pulls teeth for a living it took Dr. Levine well over an hour and a half to pull my tooth and he was screaming and yelling at me the whole time. To make matters much worse I'm not convinced that I needed the tooth pulled in the first place. I had no pain in the tooth but he insisted it had a whole and would infect my other teeth. Don't get suckered in by the fancy office, huge staff and gift bags. By the way, he charges the same ridiculous $2400+ fee to put in an implant. I would recommend that you get a few quotes before having a tooth pulled. And stay away from Dr. Levine. read more

My newborn was struggling with severe gas and discomfort. When he was born I was informed he had a lip tie but his latch seemed fine but he had been sucking in air. After a few weeks of having a miserable baby I finally took him to see Dr. Levine and was so happy I did! He was recommended by my doula, midwife, chiropractor, and even several other moms I knew. I had his lip tie revised which was an extremely quick procedure. My baby had no adverse reaction to the process. Dr. Levine called me himself before and after the appointment to check up on my son and make sure we were doing well as well as going in for several follow ups to ensure everything looked good. The care we recieved throughout the whole process was beyond what I expected. The staff was wonderful and the office looked fantastic. My baby is no longer miserable and I am so grateful that they helped relieve his discomfort. Thank you so much! read more

In July of last year, 2015, our daughter had a medical consultation with pediatric periodontist, Dr. Kenneth Levine. After examining our daughter's upper lip and tongue, Dr. Kenneth Levine informed us that our daughter had both an upper lip tie "labial frenectomy" and tongue tie "lingual frenectomy". It was explained to us that we would have to pay out of pocket for the procedure and then a claim would be submitted to our insurance company. As desperate parents and our daughter's inability to latch and/or breastfeed, as well as her acid reflux, we wanted to do what Dr. Kenneth Levine emphasized to be medically necessary to do. After revising bother her upper lip tie "labial frenectomy" and tongue tie "lingual frenectomy" by Dr. Kenneth Levine, we had to pay out of our own pocket well over $1,000.00 and a claim was submitted by Dr. Kenneth Levine's office to our insurance company. 5 months after my daughter's procedure, we were still going back and forth with our insurance company and Dr. Kenneth Levine's office. Dr. Kenneth Levine's office did not submit the claim correctly to our insurance company and when additional information was requested by our insurance, his office would not provide it. Now fast forwarding to June 2016, I noticed that my daughter's top front teeth are separated from what looks like her lip tie reattaching (I should also add that I couldn't lift her upper lip all the way either). I called Dr. Kenneth Levine's office to ask what their protocol is for reattachment after revision; after speaking to one of his front desk secretaries, she told me that Dr. Kenneth Levine would want my daughter to come in so he could take a look at it and if it did in fact reattach, he would revise it, free of charge. So we decidedly to go ahead and make an appointment. Today when we went in for our scheduled appointment, the assistant asks us why we were there, we explain to her that we suspect that our daughter's lip tie has reattached, the assistant notes it down on her clipboard and tells us to wait, that Dr. Kenneth Levine will be in to see us in a moment. Before he even walks into the room, he already announces in the hall that, "All babies have a gap in their teeth until their adult teeth come in". I told him that I am fully aware of that, but there is clearly a tie between her two top teeth. He acted as if it was an imposition to see us, or take a look. With full attitude, he says, "Fine! I'll look for you". So he puts a pair of gloves on and attempts to look, as she's crying and pulling away and says, "she's fine". Confirming, I ask, "There's absolutely no reattachment of her lip tie?" He raises his voice at me and asks, "What do you want me to do?!" At that point we were done; who talks to their patients like a piece of trash? I'm ashamed to have ever referred anyone to this doctor; after my experience with this office, I was talking to one of my friend's whose child was also revised by Dr. Kenneth Levine and she told me that when she called his office to check on the claim, she learned that they had never submitted it. Dr. Kenneth Levine's office is not a reputable one and is in fact taking advantage of new parents in a vulnerable place. This office knows how to play the game, they charge you before the procedure, out of pocket almost DOUBLE what insurance is going to pay. Then once they've got your money, they submit a claim to your insurance company. His office charges $685 for tongue tie revision, our insurance only paid roughly $400 back and his office charges $385 for upper lip tie revision, insurance only paid roughly $200. My hope is to deter other parents from falling victims to this apparent scheme; I will most definitely be warning the parent's in the tongue/lip tie group I am in. Do yourself a favor and drive an extra few miles to a Doctor that is actually reputable. read more

Took our daughter here to correct a tongue/lip tie. We were referred to Dr. Levine from a Lactation Consultant. We drove an hour from Palm Beach Gardens, to the office. The front desk staff were incredibly nice. Dr. Levine personally called me prior to the appointment. The assistants explained everything thoroughly, addressed our concerns, and were gentle and kind with our newborn. The procedure was over before we knew it, they performed the release as we paid. By the time we finished, they were ready to educate us on tongue exercises to prevent reattachment and we were able to breastfeed in the exam room immediately. We could not be happier.
