I walked into Dr. Ross Miller's office clutching my jaw, running on pure pain and nerves. My wisdom…read moretooth had a hole in it, and every heartbeat felt like a drum pounding inside my head. I was sure this was just going to be another quick exam and a "we'll schedule you later" kind of visit. But the moment Dr. Miller and his team came in, the energy shifted. Smiles, calm voices, and a sense that I wasn't just another patient in a chair--I was a person they genuinely cared about. They made me feel at ease, even while I was silently panicking about what might happen next. Then Dr. Miller surprised me. "Let's take care of this today." My heart dropped. I don't do well with pain. I really don't do well with needles. For a second, I almost backed out so I could "mentally prepare." But something about the way he and his staff spoke to me--steady, confident, kind--made me trust them. So I stayed. And that's when I knew I was in good hands. The numbing process? I didn't even feel the needle. Not a pinch. Not a sting. Just calm. My wisdom tooth had grown in sideways, and I braced myself for the worst--but the extraction came and went without a single moment of pain. I walked out lighter, relieved, and honestly grateful. Dr. Miller and his team didn't just fix my tooth--they took away my fear. Takeaway: If you're scared, in pain, or putting off oral surgery because of nerves, this is the place that will make you feel safe. Dr. Ross Miller doesn't just treat patients--he earns friends. And I'll recommend him every chance I get.

I have a referral from the hospital stating exactly what problem they found and that I need evaluation from an oral surgeon to determine treatment. That apparently isnt good enough, I would need to have them also state what procedure/surgery I need, but how would I know that without being evaluated? She said I would need to see another oral surgeon who would actually provide me medical care and tell me what procedure I need before they would see me. So they don't evaluate patients they only want to get the money for the surgeries? When I tried asking clarifying questions about how I would have that information without being seen first the women became very rude and then hung up on me. Clearly not an office I want to work with for medical care.

Five stars for a young business? Yes, because I know the doctor from his previous practice. And…read morebecause the office equipment, people, waiting area and exam rooms exceed what you'd hope for. (Check out the pics). Previously, Dr. Stiles - a third generation dental guy - diagnosed me with facial nerve damage and today, he diagnosed me with a congested salivary gland. So if your dentist recommends you see an oral surgeon, don't think he'll meet you at the door with a scalpel in hand. He may be the diagnostician that your doctor needs to help identify the health concern. I liked that the equipment at Coral Surgery produced sharp images so Dr. Stiles could identify the problem. I love that he took his time to make sure I understood and saw the images in the scan. He's relaxed and calm. Moments before he met with me, I heard him speak to a patient in fluent Spanish (I'm STILL on Duolingo!) and then walk into the waiting area to tell the person that the patient would be out soon. One of his team did the same thing a few minutes later. They really have a sense of courtesy. It is great that he can communicate with us in English or Spanish. The people in the office are bilingual too. It's scary having to go to an oral surgeon. When you see Dr. Stiles you forget to be scared. He's a truly lovely person and his new office and team made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in. AND, Arun's Indian Kichen is a few doors down from their office (yes, we went to Aruns after!).
