I was referred to Dr. Canzoneri by a friend and I'm so grateful I came here for my dental care. Needless to say I've always been afraid and dentists and have not gone to one in 5 years. I had the worst dental pain overnight, called their office and they scheduled a same day appointment. Dr is the sweetest! Super calming and explains every step of the way. If all dentists were like him there will definitely be less people scared of dentists. He immediately told me I had a dental infection, started me on antibiotics and referred me to a endodontist for a root canal next day. Really prompt service and I was better in no time. Since then I've been with Dr Canzoneri for the past 2 years. He has fixed all of my cavities and never once had a bad experience. His office staff always calls to follow up next day to make sure you are ok after a dental procedure. Appointment can take a while a routine procedures because he is always booked but for dental emergencies they'll have urgent appointments. The dental hygienists that do the cleanings are also great as well. Never once did I have to wait more than 5 min in the waiting room to be seen. Prices are definitely on the steeper side but for the service you get I definitely think it's worth it. Best dentist in town! read more

Two of the rudest receptionists I have ever encountered. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by Claudia, who can't even fake a smile to say hello then upon leaving they put you in a room with Cindy who is very insulting who continually repeats her self as if she was talking to a child. The dentist is great, his assistants are great, even the hygienist was wonderful it's a tough decision because I love the hygienist but Not sure I will be back even if the rest of the staff is great, just a suggestion to the office you may want to reconsider these two girls because if they scared me away I'm probably not alone. I absolutely love going to my dentist, Dr. Canzoneri. He has been my dentist for the past 30 years, and I couldn't be more grateful to have found him. He is extremely knowledgeable, gentle, thorough, the list goes on. He also has a wonderful personality, and so does the dental hygienist who cleans my teeth. This is an update to previous review. I took away a star because my crown is only 4 yrs old and it broke. They should last at a minimum of 5 yrs. He has now delegated 99.9% of crown work to his staff and only inspects it at the end. Very hands off but still charges like he still does the work himself. So I am suspect as to quality of crowns under this new scenario. He also is not contracted with dental insurance altho they do administrate claims so you don't have to. Ins does not cover crown replacement if it is fairly new. read more

Dr. Canzoneri has always been remarkably professional and up-front about my dental health and any potential aesthetic adjustments. He went out of his way to work with my orthodontist and reconstructive surgeon, and continues to help me not only with standard check-ups but also with preventative care that is tailored to my specific case. Having seen his cosmetic work on other patients, I can honestly say that he had one of the most artistic eyes of any doctor -- having dealt with multiple surgeons, I'm very critical about aesthetic and Dr. Canzoneri's work is without peer. The office is always clean and well decorated, and the hygienists are always friendly while performing their jobs well. I have never felt pain during their treatments, and it is clear from the education they give me and from the way they work with the doctor that they are highly qualified and receive continuing education. The front desk is always accommodating, and their new text message confirmation system is another convenient way they remind you of upcoming appointments. Ken has been my dentist since i moved to LA in 1999, he is an awesome dentist and really cool guy, everyone in his office is great, as well as the hygenists... I had to use another dentist for about a year back in 2005 due to change in insurange and a move to the westside/Santa Monica... after I moved back to the SGV and changed my dental insurance, I regained Ken's Services...and would drive 100 Miles to go to the dentist. Dr. Canzoneri is the best. I have had many bad experiences with dentists, they didn't seem to care that I was uncomfortable with pain. I have NEVER felt any pain when he was working on my teeth, I am an older person and have dealt with many dentist visits and I am so glad I finally found Dr. Canzoneri. He is up to date with procedures and techniques. He is very good at caring about the color and shape when it comes to crowns and fillings. He filled my front teeth and you don't even know it, they are beautiful. I have been going to see Dr. Canzoneri and his staff for 4 years now and I couldn't be happier. Everyone there is very friendly, from the office crew to the hygeinists. Though, amiability is a great attribute for any dental staff to display, this isn't what sealed the deal for me. What keeps me in that chair for everything from cleanings to crowns is the professional and virtually painless way in which Dr. Canzoneri and the staff get the job done. I no longer feel any apprehension when going to the dentist, regardless of what the pending procedure may be. And that is saying a lot! Now, they aren't the least expensive dental office around, but I feel that they are worth every penny. I currently travel about 15 miles to visit this dental office. Canzoneri is honestly the only dentist whose opinion I trust completely. I came to him after being fed up with my old dentist who ignored my concern regarding a toothache and opted to drill a chipped sealant when the Novocain he gave me didn't take. After having an x-ray using the hi-tech equipment in his office, it became immediately obvious that they had either been using sub-par equipment or were unable to spot an array of cavities, and the issues I had spoken about had been cavities years in the making. His staff is filled with some of the best and nicest people possible, all of whom are so amazing in their field. My entire family and extended family, plus a large array of friends, have been going to him for years and feel the exact same way. In addition, he's probably the funniest guy you will ever meet! My father went to the dentist 2 days ago to get a simple clean, and that same day at night we felt like his jaw wanted to dislocate, he is in so much pain. I feel like everyone should know, and be careful when they go to this place, the dentist may be a great dentist, but the people who is working for him don't have enough experience to do a good job. We don't know what is going to happen to my father, but his pain has not gone away, and he is afraid to talk, and eat because he feels like his jaw wants to open more than it should and the pain is unbearable.
