If you've been victim to not being heard before, then Dr. Tran and her staff at All Smiles By Design is a place that I highly recommend. From reception to dental hygienists to consultation, I feel that the team takes pride in what they do and has empathy for their patients. Amazing hospitality, staffing that genuinely cares and they do the job right with no rushing. If you get anxious or are uncomfortable about anything, just talk to them. There's no pressure and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable because let's be honest, no one likes the sound of the drill or seeing the big needle used for numbing...lol. The reception area is nice and is not your usual, boring open seating area. Instead there's living room furniture to make it feel more cozy, an accent wall for the gram and there's coffee, bottled water and snacks (I recommend waiting until after your cleaning or procedure for obvious reasons). Dr. Tran is an artist in her field and is the real deal. She was able to help find a resolution to a long term problem that I faced and affected my self confidence for many years. I no longer have to choose my "good side" and look forward being in photos with family and friends. Also, Dr. Tran gives back to the community by going on missions and volunteers her time (check out their about me page). This further shows how passionate she is about the work that she does and helps to make a difference in the world.

He didn't talk to me . He was not friendly , and didn't explain anything to me . He didn't give me any options at all about what I needed. I had to ask about fillings for my front teeth. They said I needed 4 fillings .OK So I scheduled them. The day of the filling process was horrible service from Dr. Chen. Absolutely no communication with me when he walked in the room to get started. He didn't go over the plan or inform me what type of filling they were using on me. He didn't give me options or tell me any info about his plans for my mouth. He didn't check in with me at all during the procedure , or explain as he was going . He didn't ask how I was doing or if I was feeling ok at any time ! At one point I had to STOP him to ask what he was doing or how it was going because I wasn't doing ok. I was feeling anxious and not secure. Then I had to YELL stop because I could FEEL the drilling he was doing. I was very upset when I left , and the fillings were super gritty, and they left a terrible acetone smell and taste in my mouth. It was a terrible experience I left very upset. My mouth stayed numb for 3-4 hours after that as well. And my top gums were sore for days !! Never again would I see Dr.Chen. I never once even met Dr. Ignatowicz. Dr. Chen you need to talk to your patients and ask them questions .You should explain things and give them treatment options. You need to see if they are OK and let them know your plans and procedures as you begin ! And you definitely need to check in on them when you are sitting them through 4 FILLING IN ONE SITTING!! The dental hygienist and dentist I saw at Radiant Smiles were incredibly rude and dismissive during my visit. I was told I needed a deep cleaning that would cost around $500 just to clean half of my mouth. They also told me I had two small cavities that needed fillings and warned me that my teeth could eventually fall out if I didn't address the issues. Because of how serious they made it sound, I went ahead and had the fillings done. After my visit at Radiant Smiles, something didn't sit right with me, so when I traveled home I scheduled an appointment with my regular dentist for a second opinion. My regular dentist performed a full exam including X-rays, a full cleaning, fluoride treatment, and prescribed toothpaste. After reviewing everything, they told me that I did not need a deep cleaning and that the cavities I had been told I had were not actually present and the fillings were unnecessary. Another concerning issue was that Radiant Smiles didn't even attempt to run my insurance and instead presented everything as out-of-pocket costs. I also explained on my intake paperwork and verbally that I have an autoimmune disease and that my gums were swollen because of that. Despite this, they dismissed what I told them and insisted I needed antibiotics for my gums. My regular dentist confirmed that antibiotics were not necessary. Overall, the experience felt very fear-based and untrustworthy. I left feeling pressured into procedures that were not necessary and uncomfortable with how my concerns were handled. After comparing the care I received with my long-time dentist, the difference was night and day. If you value honest dental care and transparency, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to treatment at Radiant Smiles.

With each visit, the overall bedside manner felt less personal and more rushed. There seemed to be little concern about explaining treatment plans or helping elevate concerns I had. What ultimately concerned me most was the treatment planning. After seeking several second opinions, I was told by other dentists that some of the recommended treatment recommendations, including crowns, were aggressive and unnecessary. That raised serious red flags for me. I also began to feel uncomfortable with the front office staff. There was noticeable pressure to agree to additional services, and when I asked questions or declined treatment, the response sometimes felt dismissive. Because of these experiences, I decided it was best to switch providers. I hope they can refocus on consistency, patient communication, and more conservative treatment recommendations in the future.

I was taken back after sitting just a couple of minutes by Angel the awesome tech. I love the technology of this office. They do digital X-rays and photos. Super easy no pain no stress, and super quick. I saw Dr Kaplan today. She is so nice and I got a great report today. My hygienist was Chelsea. I hadn't had an appointment with her in like a year. I guess I was scheduled with a different hygienist. She is so great! She is very detailed and personable. We caught up on what we have both been up to this last year, during my treatment. I just love the personalized care. I do have new info that they are using a new and improved fluoride treatment. It is water soluble. And it only has to stay on for 15 minutes to be effective. That means you only have to wait 15 minutes before you eat or drink anything. They have two flavors right now mint or watermelon. The watermelon flavor is light and sweet. I like it. They gave me sunglasses to wear during the exam so the bright light they use to see doesn't blind me. Lol. I was able to book my next 3 appointments while sitting in the comfy chair. I received a tooth brushing kit, perfect for travel or work. Check out was super quick. This office is professional, friendly and efficient. Team work in action. The hours are also important to me. They are able to get me in, late afternoon after school hours. So perfect! This office is right between my school and my house so it's perfect for me. There is always plenty of parking. There are spots right outside the door or right across. I like to pop over to Trader Joe's and dollar tree when I'm over here. I highly recommend. Check them out.

Barely fixed it i still couldn't bite down but i was tired of going back so I just dealt with it and eventually got used to it... Idk what she did to my tooth, but this is the second Dentist i see there that does a filling and it hurts the same if not worse.. like i mentioned already it's been since March 2025 and every time i floss that same tooth it bleeds A LOT. I never had that issue before hand. I would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy. Few years ago i even got a mouth guard from this place. All I can say is WOW. My oral surgery experience was comfortable and truly relaxing from arrival…read moreto departure, and 100% pain-free. I never dreamed I would ever use those words to describe Oral Surgery -- I am beyond impressed. I arrived at the clinically-clean Henderson facility and was immediately welcomed by the sound of soft cruise/ lounge music and a tropical beach scene displayed on the big screen tv. The office is painted an 'island white' with few distractions, leaving one to focus on the soothing music and beach scene. It's SO tranquil and soothing I almost asked the other patron to dance, and we joked about ordering tropical drinks But no time for play, as I was promptly taken back for my appointment. Protocols are obviously in-place here, and followed to a "T." EVERYONE was on the same page and nobody missed a beat. From scheduling and intake, to pain-free and efficient oral surgery (due to surgeons' years of specialized experience), to post-op instructions and follow-up, I had nothing but confidence in this staff from start to finish. And I'm a dental scaredy cat. Dr. Gibson is so highly skilled that I felt absolutely NO PAIN or DISCOMFORT during the 15 minute extraction of a very well-rooted molar. I was awake and alert the entire time utilizing Nitrous ... laughing gas. No elevated heart rate, no sweaty palms, no fear; just confidence in my surgeon's ability based on tons of amazing detailed reviews. I'm 3 days post-op and STILL zero pain, zero swelling, zero bruising, no infection, no discomfort and NO pain meds (I declined) ... just XS Tylenol and Ibuprofen. I have several oral surgery experiences under my belt, and this was the only experience that has been 100% positive. That would be why they have a 5-star rating with nearly 1000 reviews. While this group was not in my Dental Plan, they came so highly recommended by so many neighbors on the NextDoor App that I booked with them anyway (the term "pain-free" was used in many reviews). Sometimes you need to go with The Best even if they're not in your Plan; imho surgery is one of those times. Gibson & Leavitt had many options from which to choose at a variety of price points, and they accept many insurances. Since their group was not in my Dental Plan I chose Nitrous (laughing gas) instead of my usual anesthesia. SO glad I did!!! I had no idea Nitrous could be 100% pain-free + it allowed me to drive home ten minutes later! I was beyond impressed with Dr. Gibson's expertise and the entire staff's professionalism. This is an amazing group of highly talented surgeons, doctors, and staff. I still can't believe my 'awake' Nitrous surgery was literally pain-free and that I am still 100% pain-free 3 days later. I also have vertigo and I can't lie flat. I cannot help that. A dentist office works with the public. I cannot imagine. I am the only patient that cannot lie flat. This is not the problem of the patient. This is the problem of the dentist office if they are not prepared for this and or do you not know how to handle it you do not take it out on the patient. Don't give me attitude about it. If you don't know how to handle someone that isn't 100% healthy and you're a doctor? I don't know what to tell you all I know is I will not be going back and he's lucky. I don't sue him. I felt every bit of that needle! Go elsewhere, save yourself the headache.

I can no longer recommend Ascend Dental Studio in Henderson. They seem to have let go of the best…read morepeople who made the place worthwhile. The professional, kind, and truly caring staff--including Dr. Matt, Tracey, and the hygienist--are gone, and the quality has suffered dramatically as a result. I recently went in for a routine cleaning. During the procedure, I was told I had to wear the black plastic protective glasses, or I wasn't welcome there and should leave. When I explained to Dr. Timothy Luong that I'm severely claustrophobic and have a history of panic attacks from previous life-threatening surgeries, he showed zero empathy. He didn't listen to my concerns at all--he simply insisted on the glasses and, when I couldn't comply due to my medical condition, asked me to leave immediately. This complete lack of compassion and accommodation for a legitimate health issue was shocking and unacceptable. No effort was made to discuss alternatives or understand my situation. I felt dismissed and disrespected as a patient. I will never step foot in Ascend Dental again and strongly advise others to think twice before choosing this practice.
