The Dr and her NP's prescriptions have been spot-on every time -- effective, helpful, and with little to no side effects. Also worth mentioning: they've helped me in a couple of mini-emergencies, including after hours and even on a weekend. Also, and I can't believe I'm typing this... had to get my prostate checked on my last visit and it was honestly the smoothest and most surprisingly pleasant prostate exam I've ever had. Professional, respectful, and somehow even a bit fun. Didn't know that was possible. Lol.

The one encounter she was rude and rushed the visit. I always see Andrea, the NP, which was fine until they recently began messing up my prescriptions. She refused to refill medications that she prescribed and failed to pull records within the network. Every time I needed anything, there was always an issue. The office needs a whole makeover. Hoping my new doctor will be amazing. Don't go here unless you want to have long waits, lost prescriptions, and refusals for refills. I really don't know why I didn't change sooner.

His staff are always nice and polite and I've never had an issue with a snobby or rude nurse there. On top of that, Dr. Thomas is really nice and he actually listens to all your questions and concerns and he answers everything and even goes out of his way to help you. Also the other doctor in his building, Dr. Shama, she is also very nice and would recommend her as well.

But due to the cost of the medication I had to go a week without it. I surfer from severe sleep issues. Just in the week I have not had my medicine I have been falling asleep at work, which could cost me my job. I came in today, only to get turned around because Dr. Hughes refuses to prescribe this medicine. This costed me a whole day of work, which I can't miss another day for weeks now to see Dr. Hanby. I asked if there was anything else he could do to help and was denied even that. Even if I couldn't get the medication I could have at least gotten some kind of help, instead of being completely turned away. This was completely unprofessional behavior and I want to know what the owner is going to do to rectify this situation.

That said, sometimes I swear they forget you're in a room waiting. I can hear the other rooms, they're empty. I can hear staff chatting and passing g the time. I thought about just doing teledoc, I have insurance. They do not accept insurance here. The only reason I come here is that it's usually fairly quick and easy care. This experience may be the reason that I won't come back. The entire clinic is pin drop quiet and I'm in here watching movies waiting for service.

In all I went in about 12 times for different tests or followups. Never really got answers. The equipment in the office is faulty. Stress test didn't work, and when they took my blood pressure a couple of different times it was off the charts, one time it errored out, and caused bruises, but when they checked manually it was good. (I don't have high blood pressure), the tech said "oh do you have a blood clot in the other arm?" What? Insinuating that I had a blood clot and that is what caused the error. The office staff is probably the worst I have ever encountered. They can't answer questions, and will literally lie with excuses. When I finally found a new cardiologist, (only because I needed clearance for a hip surgery) he was shocked at the amount of testing that was done. The only meds I am on is one aspirin a day and she told me exercise and eat healthy. Racked up alot of bills, because it was so excessive the insurance quit covering it. She also charges to talk to you on the phone. And will charge twice in one day, if you use the at home heart monitor. I think the dr is very knowledgeable and if I had actually had a problem maybe she would have helped me. But the staff and faulty equipment make the experience awful.

On my…read morefirst visit, an NP charged me a copay to tell me I would need three tests before I saw Dr. Farah. Complicated because they only do each test on certain days of the week (so stress tests only on Tuesdays, echo's only on Wednesdays, etc.). After the three tests, Dr. Farah didn't go over the results. She only told me there was an abnormality, and I needed two more tests. I was terrified. When the front office scheduled those tests for 6 weeks later, I wondered if I needed to go to the ER since I might die in the next 6 weeks from this abnormality. After those tests, Dr. Farah said "low risk" but recommended more tests. After the next test, I watched her write "mild" in her notes, but then she recommended a medication that would dramatically change my lifestyle (she also undersold the side effects as I later learned). I sought a second opinion. He said all of my results were what he'd expect for an average 50 year old who cycles a lot (he took the time to know that I bicycle 5,000-10,000 miles a year; she ignored that when I volunteered the information). I will never go back to Dr. Farah. I wasted $500 in copays and a lot of my time.

He ordered an MRI since I'm a competitive athlete and needed to know the extent of the injury. Then his assistant called me with "results" that were very vague; I had questions she couldn't answer, and they don't do "follow-ups" to go over results. What? I had to request the follow-up by complaining, then they finally got me in. During the follow-up, he explained the extent of the injury and what it meant (how long I would have to offload, physical therapy, etc.). He stated his team would get back to me immediately to refer me to a physical therapy/rehab place he recommended. Well, that call never came. It's been 2 months, and they never followed through, not even to see how I was doing- nothing. I moved from out of state, and the doctors I had in high school and college always followed through with PT and checked in to see how the injured patient/athlete was doing. Zilch. Needless to say, we switched providers to a completely different group in Fort Worth. What a difference! I would never come back here again; so disappointing. I was in so much pain; I expected such a large office that bills so much to insurance to do their job. Maybe they are not very passionate about their careers, but it all comes down to the staff/people you hire and how they are trained. Dr. Blueitt is equally responsible for not following through. Oh, and he lied to us and said he had tried to call our phone numbers- total lie. We answer our phone all the time and had no missed calls after the MRI, which is when we complained that no one called to go over the results, since it was indeed a stress fracture. Avoid this place like the plague if you want thorough, professional care.
