She helped me realize it couldn't be altered without changing the style of the dress, and brought up that I could get a really gorgeous shirt out of it. I said yes and then she mused that she might be able to make me a skirt of the bottom, and still charged me the $20 she quoted earlier. I also wanted to put lace capped sleeves on the dress since it was originally strapless. She was able to do exactly what I was looking for, and I could not have been happier with the way my dress turned out. She also provided expert advice when I wasn't sure exactly how I wanted certain aspects of the dress. She thinks of every detail--aspects I never would have even thought to ask about. I was extra appreciative of Deby because shortly before my wedding, she was able to accommodate a last minute change to the capped sleeves. When I called and asked if it was possible, she told me not to worry at all and during my final fitting, she was able to reshape the sleeves. Her prices were completely reasonable as well. Definitely use Deby if you're looking for expert alterations, a friendly person, and reasonable prices.

We're in a camper, so we preferred a place with good parking options. This laundromat is attached to an old strip mall, the parking was practically empty with big spaces for us. The prices aren't bad either. $5 something for a big'ish load and 25¢ per 5 minutes for the dryers. The only thing is that if you're using a card, it appears that you will have to wait and repay each 5 minutes, you can't choose to pay for 30 minutes. So I used quarters for the dryer and left to eat lunch. There's also a great Chinese place across the street, or a Wendy's in the parking lot. We're happy with our time here.

I asked her to chop off the one shoulder strap on my gown, to make it strapless, as well as add a sweetheart neckline. We also did the usual tailor tucks and hemline trims to make the dress, and boy did it fit well! Really like a glove. And made me feel sooo beautiful on my day to be confident and not worried about weird puckering or anything abnormal. She also pressed the dress as an added optional service, which I appreciated a lot. She was a joy to work with and very sweet and easy to communicate with. The alterations were also all done on one side making the bodice lopsided. She blamed the resulting fit of the dress on my daughter saying it was her fault for choosing that style of dress. Really? And this doesn't appear to be a one time thing, my daughter has met other brides who had to have a different seamstress fix what this woman did. I'm stunned that she has all 5 star reviews.
