The owner suggested I put my feet in the water while she picked my color, but I wish she had asked me to pick a color beforehand. I told her I wanted pink, but she ended up using red. Also, I wanted to warn everyone who's considering a pedicure there that she doesn't file nails or remove dead skin from your feet. I paid a lot for something I could easily do myself at home. Plus, I noticed she missed a lot of spots on the nail polish, which didn't look professionally done. It was very disappointing. She also asked how much I was tipping her in front of another customer and had me walk barefoot to her machine while my foot nails were drying. I showed the guy my inspo pics and asked if it was going to be okay, and he mockingly said, "they're your nails" I thought he was joking and being funny but throughout the service I kept feeling burning and pain from the drill, I have a high pain tolerance but it was getting excessive. He would dig the drill bit into my cuticles and I have several cuts. He'd do it and then look up and ask, "you okay?" And then do it again! I think he over filed my natural nail so all of the heat reaction of the products was burning really bad, i mentioned it was really burning my thumb and he laughed at me. He was overall just really aggressive with my hands, I was trying to keep them relaxed but no matter what he just seemed really annoyed by me. The final result of my nails is not what I asked for but I didn't want to be rude and just told him they look awesome, he then mockingly repeated "awesome" at me and walked away. My friends nails who were done right next to me turned out great, the guy was gentle with her hands, she doesn't have any cuts, her nails look good, bottoms filed and clean. Even my friend noticed how the guy was behaving towards me and instantly started talking about it once we walked out. Overall I'm really sad with my experience, I was hoping this salon would become my regular but if this is how they treat their customers I'm not interested. I don't know if this behavior was because of the color of my hair or he was having a bad day but I don't think it was fair to treat me that way when I'm spending $160.00 on my service, I still tipped $20.00 but I will not be coming back and will not recommend.
