Where's your customer service? In the first phone conversation, she refused to remove the $50 charge and told my mom to contact the insurance provider instead. Frustrated, my mom then tells the lady she won't be coming back and to cancel the appointment she was having later in August. Then moments later, my mom received a call back stating somebody in the office removed the $50 charge -- what they should've done in the first place. Now the part that blows me is that lady tells my mom "but you will have to find another provider as we cancelled your august appointment" with a voice of tone as if my mom is no longer allowed there. When in reality, my mom had told her in the first phone conversation SHE NEVER WANTED TO RETURN. Then the lady on the phone ends the conversation after my mom says thank you & goodbye, with attitude saying "mhmmm". Not you're welcome or have a good day, anything? -- If you don't have any sense of professionalism or customer service, get a new job. Because you're clearly unfit for the role. Side note: there's a sprinkle of racism involved here because clearly my mom is a woman of color with an accent so the person on the phone at this dentist office was getting annoyed and frustrated.

It's clean and has updated machines to help keep your teeth healthy. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Most of all, Dr Nguyen is personable and honest. She tells you what needs to be done and what doesn't. You can tell that she cares more about getting your teeth healthy than making bogus diagnosis. You know it's a good place when you can recommend all of your friends and family to go there!

I declined, thinking that a receptionist should not recommend a laser treatment when she is not a qualified dentist or hygienist. In fact, after I refused, she asked me, "Do your gums bleed?" I replied, "No, they do not," but once again, I think it is inappropriate for a receptionist to be asking medical questions. Questions like that should only be asked by my dental professional. As for my experience in the chair, I was first greeted by the dental assistant, who took my x-ray and then sat me down to polish my teeth. I was surprised by this as I am used to having that done AFTER the scaling, and it prompted me to ask about it. The assistant then said, "Oh, I am the assistant, and the hygienist will do the scaling." The hygenist seemed to do a good job, so no complaints there. The dentist came in later and discussed my X-rays in depth, suggesting some additional minor work, which I have scheduled for next week. Other than that, I suppose the treatment was fine. I decided to retiurn to this practice because my dentist in Nirmandy Park left town and sold the practivce to another firm, that does not take my insurance. I did try another local dentist, but they kept screwing up by billing. So, for the moment I will stick with Bright Now. Love this place! I…read morecome here for my fillings and deep cleans. I hate going to the dentist so much. I still get anxious like a kid but I can always count on the staff to alleviate that. The front desk manager is very sweet and welcoming. Such a handsome guy, friendly and kind too. The x ray technician is a lovely lady as well. My dentist however, she has a special place in my heart. A bundle of joy. Dr. Yin always makes sure to talk me through everything. In the middle of procedures, she will give me updates on how much progress we're making. Sometimes she'll tell me I'm doing a good job and i get so happy like a child. I know it's silly but it's the little things that make the experience bearable. My last visit, i had a locked jaw. I wasn't aware this was a thing, that it could happened. It hurt alot so i panicked and freaked out. I'm genuinely not joking when i say this; I thought i was dying. She popped it back in place luckily. Immediately, I felt the warmth of relief. She was so kind to talk me through it, educated me that it happens sometimes. She even gave me a little massage! I almost cried through the whole ordeal. So many waves of emotions for just a simple filling appointment. Anyways, I really am grateful for the team here at tukwilas Sunrise dental. The dental care was slightly better than her professionalism but not great considering I've never left a dentist appointment with a tooth having a jagged edge until now. I tried to tell him at the time to fix it and he tried but unfortunately there is still a notch on one of my molars and that was not there before. I've gotten a cavity filled before and my tooth was not jagged like this, now im stuck with it. I will not be coming back and do yourself a favor and keep scrolling for another dentist.
