We have always had good results with Ken Smith when it has to do with getting the work done and done right. Until now, we have never had issues. I would highly suggest dealing with one person and one person only because if not, communication within the business is a problem!! (That was one of their excuses) I was recently in an accident and insurance paid for the repairs. I also had an estimate for additional work and we were expecting it to be around $1,000, so we were more then please that it was only going to be $600-$700. I told them we wanted the additional work done also and I was told it wasn't a problem. When we got the car back the additional work hadn't been done. I was told there was miscommunication because the person that gave me the estimate was on vacation. Then when I told him my husband had personally talked to him so how could someone going on vacation be the excuse? Then I was told he had decided that it was going to be expensive to fix (the price was the same as what our estimate showed) and so they didn't do the work. For one, that's very insulting, I guess they assumed we couldn't afford it?!? I'm not sure what gave him (Kevin) the right to decide that when we told them we wanted it done. When I called, and was getting a number of different excuses that's when I was told it was going to be expensive and I was mad questioning what gave him the right to decide that and I was hung up on! When I called back, not knowing if it was possibly my phone that went dead, he said he would talk to my husband and that no, my phone didn't go dead, he hung up on me!! WOW!! VERY PROFESSIONAL!!! I told him it was my car and I was going to deal with it, not my husband and asked to speak to someone else. Again, hung up on!! When I called to talk to my husband about it, he had again, not listened! He had hung up to call my husband! We WILL NOT be doing business with a company that has very rude and insulting staff that doesn't listen to their customers!!!! read more
