Me and 3 of my family went on a Sunday. We rented one of the Sundecks and stayed from open to…read moreclose. The sweet and helpful girl ( I wish I could remember her name) that walked us to our sundeck gave us a couple of papers, one a map of the park, one a list of food items that could be ordered and delivered to our sundeck along with the website to pull it up. Around noon I pull the website up and it just says 'no items are available at this time'. The same worker was walking by so I stopped her to see if I was doing something wrong. She said it can do that when they're at the rush peak. Completely understandable. So I get my groups orders and two of us head towards the pizza place. We walked in and stood there, looking around not knowing who to order from or what the heck we were doing. We finally ask the girl at the register and she says oh you order from someone in the back. So we stood at the counter, made eye contact a few times, asked if we ordered there and the was told mmmhm. Then he went back to making pizza ignoring us. I finally get his attention and get our order in( which was like pulling teeth with no help or direction from anyone working there) . Pay and head over to the cafe to get the rest of the food. That place was equally confusing. No idea what we were doing with zero help from the workers there. Now I'm not blaming these kids. Because they were all working and learning. I blame management because they ( by they I mean every single worker in all 3 food areas we went to) were obviously not trained well and thrown out there. They looked worn out and frazzled. So I would recommend packing a picnic lunch and eating it out of the trunk of your car for sure. The waterpark itself was fun. The kids really enjoyed it. Just skip eating if you can help it

On another visit I show up with my passes and my guest only to be told I cannot enter on this day with a guest without paying an extra 50 dollar fee. They have now decided that only non working people Monday - Thursday can enter with a guest in which they've already paid for. This is after several other occasions of allowing guests in on Friday- Sunday. Make up your mind! Take care of the customer. Make it right for everyone!

We had a lovely time here. I am a big fan of zoos, and of course an aquarium is just a big, wet…read morezoo. The Mississippi Aquarium was very cute and lots of fun. You can tell that the staff are educated and care very much about the animals. It is all very clean and well-kept. It took us about 2 hours to sidle through and look at everything. It's a good outing for an afternoon. Part of the facility is outdoors, with exhibits for the beavers (They have beavers!! So cute!!), the dolphins, the otters, and the local gators and wildlife. They have a penguin exhibit that is in the works and coming soon. The rest is indoors in a nice building. You go up to the top floor and work your way down through the various exhibits and tanks. A big part is outside, so you should check the weather before you go and be prepared to deal with whatever. There is a public parking garage right next door, but we parked across the highway at Jones Park and walked over to the aquarium. There is a nice pedestrian skybridge over the highway that makes it easy and safe.

Got here as it opened, they have a military discount at the ticket office. I enjoyed the outdoor exhibits, but the indoor exhibits are much more expansive and beautifully put together. They have a touch tank and a lot of interesting information posted everywhere, so come prepared to learn. They also have a bird exhibit that you can walkthrough and see animals close up! They also have a concession stand, and a gift shop at the exit.

Cruisin the Coast If you are into vehicles - old and new…read more.. well this is definitely where you need to be. Cruisin' the Coast happens once a year. Usually around end of September to early October. You can look, buy or trade, burn rubber or race, converse or cruise. The strip of I-90 Beach Blvd 25 miles up and down. Also, each casino along that route holds its own array of exhibitions, bands, and events. The Edgewater Mall, coliseum and parks as well. There is no end to activities going on this full week long event. Awards are giving in many categories. Hundreds of RV spaces, hotels, condos, food vendors, restaurants, bars and the BEACHES are available for all the thousand of Cruisin' customers. This week 2018 the weather was amazing...sunny skies and 90 degree temps. Last year we left just before the hurricane. So making this an annual event for the entire family is a must.

When I hear him whistling or saying how sexy something is I can almost guarantee you it's not a girl he's looking at..it's a car. Which, by the way, is a good thing because I'd be a tiny bit jealous if he were whistling at another girl. And by tiny bit I mean a whole helluva lot. Anyway, he's the reason I have been to Crusin' the Coast now two years in a row. It's such a fun event. There are beautiful old cars up and down the beach, out of this world people watching and just a really nice way to spend a day or evening. Also? Educational. I now know a lot about cars. And this is coming from the girlest girl. I know what a '74 Nova looks like and why it's so badass. I now know why spinning your tires is a "thing" and what it actually smells like. I now appreciate old cars and restored engines. Don't hesitate to go to this yearly event. You (even you girls) won't regret it.
