The boudin balls needed a little work but Ivory was very receptive to feedback. Mimosas were good too. I had the cranberry, it came in a carafe. We finished 2 of them between the 3 of us throughout our meal. I ordered the shrimp and grits. Grits were excellent, shrimp was a little salty but if I mixed with the grits, worked out well. We had the endless catfish and amazed that it just kept coming. Also ordered a special priced wing and waffle dish that was 2 wings and a waffle, a little snack. Sonia was extremely responsive, courteous, and helpful. I was able to send a deposit and reserve my date within hours of my initial message to them. Throughout the weeks leading up to our party there was ample contacts assuring me that everything would go smoothly. The day of the event itself the arrival was confirmed twice so I was able to sit back and enjoy my daughter's party. We had decided on a poolside hibachi dinner. So setup involved hauling all the equipment around my backyard. The team was well prepared for the challenge. We offered to help and they politely declined. Their entire trailer was unpacked, unloaded, and set up within 30 minutes of arrival. We all enjoyed a slow, relaxed meal with lots of entertainment and emphasis on the birthday girl. After hours of swimming the adults and children couldn't even finish their meals. But wait.....they have to go containers to ensure all of your guests can take home their leftovers without you lifting a finger. Overall the experience is simply unbeatable.
