This doctor assumed my husband's care when he was admitted to ICU with an arrhythmia. I had difficulty getting this doctor to respond to my questions re: my husband's well-being, so that should have been Clue #1. After being home for a few weeks, we again saw Dr. Sikaria in his office. He was rushed, and came across to me as blunt and rather rude. My husband was still ill enough to not remember a lot of the visit, so I thought, 'Maybe the doctor was just having a rushed, bad day; although, certainly no excuse for his unprofessional behavior." Clue #2 Today, the third visit, my husband had questions re: his diagnosis and treatment. This doctor treats that with disdain, pure and simple. If not that, then he is smirking at you like you are either an idiot to ask that question, or just wasting his time. Counseling was ALL that was needed at this appt. No med refill, no EKG,....the doctor listened to his chest for about 5 sec. Then, proceeded to answer our questions with sarcasm or, as I said, disdain, for even bothering to ask. We were stunned. The doctor then got up and left the room. My husband said, "That's it?? We paid for this....for the lack of respect and no answers to questions?" Dr. Sikaria may very likely know the clinical aspects of medicine....I don't know. I DO know he is very rude and feels patients are taking up too much of his time. So, we will not be returning. As a nurse, it saddens me to see healthcare reduced to this. My husband is scared and legitimately concerned about his future health. For this doctor to speak to him like he did....unbelievable. The wait was long in the waiting room and the examining table was dirty. Just added to the overall bad experience here. SO glad there are other cardiac specialists in the area....

He was…read moremisdiagnosed by another cardiologist in the area; once he saw Dr. Sikaria, he was put on the right medications and has been doing much better. I think if you are looking for a doctor to hold your hand and cry with you, this is not the way to go. But if you are looking for a doctor with experience who knows what he's doing and can treat you right, definitely visit the Heart Center. We are extremely grateful; Dr. Sikaria saved my uncle's life.

In a later visit he is the one to send me to an oncologist early enough, to I believe, save my life. My only regret is that the group he belongs to does not accept my health insurance anymore. But if a serious ailment comes to me, I will go to him and gladly pay for my own pocket . It amazes me me how we wait an hour without complaining to get sited at a restaurant; and that's WITH a reservation !

Don't know who she was but was extremely rude to me and obviously did not want to be bothered. She gave me number to call. Before I hung up I asked her to try and be a little nicer and I was sorry she was having a bad day. She hung up on me. My limited experience with island Doctors has been very pleasant up till now. Sorry had to vent. No place to act like that. Guess it's not a big deal anymore. Care has been wonderful. Hopefully will be back to great next time I go.

Office was clean and maybe 5 mins later, Dr Bashar came in room. He was very thorough, great bedside manner, took his time, asked x2 if we had any questions and impressed us both so much that I took business cards to hand out to family and friends. I so relieved that my Hubby is in good hands. God forbid I have to go to Cardio Dr., I would def go to Dr Bashar.

Let me tell you I've found a 5 star Doctor!…read more Dr Feaster was recommended to me as a I was looking for a new Primary care doctor. Her office is private practice and the hours are from 7am - 3pm. While she doesn't stay late I don't mind because I love early morning appt. Her staff was very friendly and I mean it. No robotic like or long faces. They weren't in a hurry and really helped with my questions about the paperwork. Dr Feaster is very thorough and hands on Doctor. She explained in detail and ask questions as if she was making sure to find the right treatment for me including some referrals. She connects with you eye to eye and hand to body and did not rush the process in a hurry to get to the next patient. I'm am beyond pleased with her and haven't had a doctor like her in like never.
