Avoid this dealership like you would the plague! Years ago I was in the automotive business, first…read moreas a salesman, then parts dept manager. Bella Nissan is the most crooked operation I have encountered. I visited the dealership recently looking a new car listed on their website. When I said I was there to see the car, the salesman and his manager both burst out laughing and stated the car had been sold an hour earlier. Then they tried to steer me into a more expensive car I did not want. I told them I would only be interested in it if they made me an incredible deal. Well, the offer they made was incredible. They made an insulting offer on my trade, four thousand dollars below the cash offers I had from Carvana and a couple other dealerships. The offered price on their car included a $1,495 "dealer prep" charge and another $699 document prep charge. The price on the low miles used car was more than I could buy a 2026 new one from other dealers. This company has earned its exclusively one star ratings!

This a true but difficult rating for Bella Nissan in Pittsfield. I sensed a bad omen when Damian…read morepretended not to know about the Nissan lease sales ads plastered all over Bella's website. It was a horror story that Damian didn't honor the lease price for a 2025 Altima. The first car I was taken to, looked at, drove around the lot was very nice, not a Nissan Altima, but a dream car I was ready to sign a lease. However, bait and switch Damian kept asking for more cash. Sign this and sign that. I clearly overpaid. I don't care. I no longer have a 16 year old rusted out Rogue that my enemies would leave notes on, would loose parts underneath the body as I was driving it. I have a new 2025 Nissan Altima. My old car finally exorcised out of my possession. Yup, the 2010 Rogue stalled often as if it had a mind of it's own. It was near it's demise and I had spent enough on it for repairs and reached my limit. Ok, so the long wait time episodes was suppose to wear me down. Damian was not focused with my transaction. Foreboding doom as what will Damian lie about next? Fuzzy math on how much my trade in was worth to them. I do not care. I have a new car. I no longer have to deal with that evil money pit. I did most of the leg work , not Damian or the heavy set lady in the showroom corner office. What exactly is dealer prep and documents fees? Really disappointed on that. I did Damian's prep. I did the lady in the corner office document retrievel. The corner office lady more concerned with her lunch order. Italian Sub with Mayo! (yuk). I did the work, I got the car inspected, I returned the old plates, I obtained the DMV excise tax information. Damian lied about "waiting for my insurance company to send him blah,blah,blah..." After 4 days and seems like 666 minutes I verified that Damian did NOT contact my insurance company. It took me all of 45 MINUTES to get the forms and have them sent to Damian's manager. If I did not do Damian's job, I would still be waiting for my new car. The heavy set lady in the corner office said she has now to work with "stupid" title. Really? How rude. It's a horror story that stays with you. It's a showroom that doubles as some kid's nursery and playpen. There was zero prep. work done by Bella. Heck, even the clock wasn't adjusted and the windshield wash reservoir was bone dry. Good Riddance to the 2010 Rogue. I have a new car.

I have been a loyal customer of Berkshire Mazda for years and have given them thousands of dollars…read moreof my hard earned money to provide maintenance on my vehicles. The service department has gone severely downhill. I will no longer be a customer for service and will not buy my next Mazda there. I arrived to the dealership for an oil change on my CX-5 that is a year and a half old and has 35,000 miles for an 8:30am appointment. I was told by the individual checking me in that I was listed as a drop off and that It would be at least 3 hours before my car was ready. I said I was anticipating waiting at the dealership and was not able to get a ride. He told me there was no loaner vehicles available and so I said I would have to cancel the appointment then. He goes into an office and comes back out and suddenly there is a loaner car available to me. They also tell me that my car needs an alignment (of course). I told him that I was not sure if I would be able to bring the loaner vehicle back today due to my schedule and I would bring it back the following morning. He told me that would be okay. He then tells me to go inside to the counter and complete the loaner process with the woman working there. I fill out the forms and she pulls the car around front. I said I will try to bring the loaner car back today but it will likely be tomorrow morning. She says that is not going to work because there are customers that will need the vehicle tomorrow. Do they not communicate with each other? The other employee said it was fine to bring the car back the following morning! This was already going so well so I just decided I would change my schedule and come back to the dealership to get this process over with. It is worth noting I live 45 minutes from the dealer and it is not just a trip to the road. The representative that checked me in called me a couple hours later and told me my car needed numerous things, but importantly a battery. He said the battery failed their diagnostic testing. I was quoted $300 for a battery replacement. I declined as I thought that price was too high. I thought it was odd that my vehicle only a year and a half old with 35,000 miles needed a new battery. I did some research and it turns out battery replacement is covered under my 3 yr/36,000 mile warranty through Mazda. That is odd considering they wanted me to pay $300 dollars to have it replaced. Please use caution because it seems like they are not being faithful to the warranty that comes with the vehicle I leased there. I love my car and will likely be getting another CX-5 in the future but it certainly won't be from Berkshire Mazda. It seems they are up to the antics dealers are famous for. I will be following up with Mazda directly regarding this matter. ****Update**** After filing a complaint with Mazda corporate regarding Berkshire Mazda's actions Berkshire Mazda stated they recharged the battery and it may not need to be replaced. They also stated they wanted to do more testing of the battery. Only after I filed a complaint do they now say they recharged the battery and want to do additional testing. None of that was said to me when the service representative called and stated that my battery required immediate replacement for $311. They are attempting to manipulate the situation. To make things even better I had the battery tested elsewhere and they found no deficiency. Who would have thought a year and a half old battery was not defective?
