I've followed this groomer as she's moved locations many times to very inconvenient locations. The…read morenew location is the worst. I've always tipped heavy knowing that my dog can be on the difficult side, sitting down a lot as he's older and feels unsafe on the table. I make my appointments 3 months in advance and have always asked for a reminder text so I don't miss/forget. The last appointment I received the reminder minutes before I was due to be there. My dog was experiencing health issues, which I explained. We thought he was near his end and has gone blind. I explained that I wasn't sure how he would manage a long Grooming appointment. I was nervous about it. She replied, "we'll just cancel then, Hope he gets better". Later to be informed I can't book again without paying half of that appointment as a fee for "missing" ($65). I think this is very ungrateful, and not very understanding. Also, if you offer reminder text, actually do them! The actual Grooming was always done well, but nails were always missed so i started bringing him to the vet for that.

When we got home, we noticed her coughing and took her to the vet. She was diagnosed with pneumonia. PNEUMONIA. When I spoke with Marcel, it seemed like no big deal. I understand that dogs can get kennel cough but her symptoms were so severe it became pneumonia. They didn't call anyone because they didn't notice anything wrong with her! Total cop out. I have been using this kennel for a decade and will not be back. BTW, their policy is to call owners when there are 2 confirmed cases of kennel cough. Anyone receive a call in early September?

When she understandably tried to nip at his hand and run, he proceeded to pull her off the table by the tail and hung her above his head for several seconds. Didn't even bother to grab her by her harness. Also saw 2 other dogs kept in kennels (which were way too small for their size) that were visibly shaking and in a state of fear. Do NOT take your dog here. Frank works alone and without supervision, and other dog owners leave them in his care while they carry our their daily duties which is frightening, because I assume they've never truly seen how he operates. His workspace was also very unkempt and untidy, which is most likely a factor in some of the other dogs contracting kennel cough after their stays here. SPCA has been notified and conducting an investigation.

She seems to enjoy giving horrible customer service. The manager overcharged me for my service when I came back to pay for the grooming and didn't even care to hear my perspective on the issue. Petsmart, give your staff training, especially management. The groom was shorter than I had asked for and half of my dogs tail was short and the other half was long. It is evident that this groomer has no training and neither does the grooming manager. If I could give this grooming salon no stars, I would. Avoid the hassle for yourself and don't take your dog here. There are much more caring groomers out there.
