Ty and his wife Christina photographed our wedding on May 16, 2015 in Sidney, OH and we couldn't…read morehave been happier! Every aspect of working with Ty was wonderful and easy. I first contacted Ty before our wedding date was even set and he was always prompt and thorough with his replies. He was very accommodating to our circumstances (I was in Iowa, my fiance was in Maryland, and the wedding was in Ohio) and happily met with us while we were in Ohio visiting family for Christmas. I even asked Ty a question once that was totally unrelated to photography, but had more to do with another vendor's question, and he happily responded to my question, even though it wasn't related to his business. I felt that Ty and Christina were always very warm and friendly, down-to-earth, and very professional. Ty didn't barrage us with unnecessary communication in the time between signing the contract and the wedding and never pushed any of his services, but always offered them with a detailed explanation and sometimes examples of his work. A couple weeks before the wedding we got the final details worked out and my husband and I got a text from Ty the morning of the wedding with the first timeline details. Ty and Christina were wonderful to work with on the day of the wedding. Everything was on time and there were no surprises or miscommunications. They were both very easy-going and relaxed, which helped us relax. They never got in the way or were in any way demanding. They just went with the flow of the day and the atmosphere. We had a lot of small children in and at the wedding and both Ty and Christina were wonderful with working with them. There were so many great shots of the kids and Ty and Christina didn't mind making themselves look a little silly in order to get the little ones' attentions during family photos. One photo had a 2 year old and 3 babies under 9 months and they're all looking at the camera! Ty and Christina held a great balance of guiding us through parts of the day and being completely invisible to us at other times. They were also flexible and prepared for the weather. It rained all day the day of the wedding so there wasn't much natural light in the sanctuary for the ceremony. Ty provided lighting that not only enhanced the photos, but gave our guests a better experience. They even came prepared with clear umbrellas and towels so we could take a few pictures outside in the rain (some of our favorites!) They never stopped snapping photos at the reception and got a lot of great moments of us and our guests on the dance floor. Ty got the finished photos to us in 3 weeks - 665 photos. We were extremely pleased with the shots. We have gotten so many compliments on the photos. Ty and Christina were able to understand the tone we wanted for our wedding (classic, timeless) and the photos absolutely match. I would highly recommend hiring them for any event you want documented!

On the wedding day Ty and Christina helped me relax with how amazing they handled everything. They showed up early to the venue to scout it out and find good areas for pictures, they kept with the schedule we made beforehand, they interacted well with the whole wedding party making us feel relaxed and laughing for some pictures. I had my wedding pictures edited and sent to me about 10 days after the wedding, I think! And the pictures were amazing!! I have them all over our house as well as my parents and in-laws. I highly recommend Ty and Christina! My venue and photographer were my favorite two vendors!

So we gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited as another 20 or so people joined us or sat in their cars waiting. Several of us tried to call the theater and didn't even get a recorded message. Some called headquarters in Texas and of course all they could do was look into the matter. Quite a few of us had driven from other towns and would not be able to return for a showing later in the day. I suggest that when they are going to cancel a showing, they at least leave a message on their main number in Piqua and have someone post a sign on the outer doors so people don't just stand there feeling angry or frustrated because the WANT to see that movie. I expected and received a phone call on the first day. I discussed with the counselor what coping skills worked best with her. On the fourth day of camp, I received a call saying that she has attempted to assault a counselor. I rushed in to discover that she had been crying, wanting to come home and had just been told "no. You have to participate with the rest of the kids." I was told by the counselor that she had been wheezing all day, and vomiting. When she went to hug the counselor (counselor told me herself that she opened her arms to invite her in for a hug) for some comfort, she was mouth breathing at this time as nothing was done about her asthma even with an air quality alert. They accused her of attempting to bite and refused to allow her to finish the last day of camp. There are 3 times they should have called me before this moment, 2 of which were medical emergencies and could have resulted in hospital visits. I made the mistake of thinking that because they call themselves "Christian based" that my seven year old would be treated with love and kept safe. Instead she was out into a dangerous situation and then criticized and accused of things she never did.
