The Piercer was amazing and professional and clean. My son is not a fan of needles and of course this is right in front of his eyes. He closed them and did great til the end- and this is where the piercer shined. My son immediately afterward went white and clammy. Without any reaction but "you're fine, it's done, you were great, I'm here" encouragement, she sprang into action in the smoothest way possible- grabbed the trash bin, stepped to the faucet and got wet paper towels and applied the to his forehead, back of neck and lower back. All while being so kind and positive. (My son is know for getting sick after needles of any kind- even tho the procedure is over!). I'm not the world's expert or anything, but I have about a dozen tattoos. I've been to the biggest,…read moremost popular studios in Lincoln and have been tattooed by the most in-demand artists and I can confidently say that Tanner at Mojo's is the best in Lincoln. I won't trash-talk those other shops because I've seen very solid artists, but Tanner's skill is unsurpassed. The tattoos I've gotten from him are the closest to perfect that I have. Clean lines, amazing shading, incredible realism...just awesome art all around. And he will do the best job because, unlike some of those other shops, he's not going to rush through to get the next person in the chair. Admittedly, when you're 3+ hours in, sometimes his care and patience feels like a curse because you just want to be done already :) But the extra time and pain is 100% worth it because you can see the difference in the art...and in 30 years you're not going to mind that extra pain when you've had a lifetime of enjoyment from an amazing piece. Another bonus is that Tanner is not an egotistical jerk, which I can't say for all the "big name" artists in Lincoln. He is polite and friendly and positive and enthusiastic. He has excellent "bedside manner." He is also super prompt about drawing art. Since I know this is an important consideration, I can also attest to the fact that Tanner's work is extremely reasonably priced. The first time I went in, I was almost scared away by the low quote he gave me, but maybe that's just another perk of him not being super conceited. Admittedly, my first tattoo there was about 3 years ago, so perhaps since then Tanner has figured out how incredibly talented he is and is now charging more competitive rates. I don't live in Lincoln anymore but I'm coming back soon for a new tattoo so I'll re-post with an update after. I'm sure it'll be just as glowing.

This tattoo is my most meaningful tattoo and the first one to be in a place where people will see it 90% of the time so I was a little nervous but those nerves were gone the moment I walked in the door. Great and very talented staff, clean environment and Tanner did an amazing job! He was so easy to talk to and did a wonderful job.
