Such a cute, family friendly place, I love the history all over the walls. Cash or check only but there's a bank right across the street with an ATM. I got the Kelly's Favorite Omelette- Stuffed with Hashbrowns, Sausage Gravy & Cheese topped with more Sausage Gravy and Cheese it was AMAZING!!! My husband got the Breakfast Bowl- A Biscuit, Sausage Gravy, Bacon & Cheese all on a bed of Scrambled Eggs! His was hands down the best thing on the table! I'm getting that when we go back lol!

They don't comply with the laws. Very cheaply made food! If you like hospital food I recommend it!

Kelly's has a great breakfast menu. The food is delicious and the portions are big. The prices are great, also.

The food left much to be desired. Our table of 7 ordered a variety of dishes such as the Rise and Shine, Country Breakfast Skillet, a pancake, and breakfast sandwich. The grits were watery with zero salt or butter. We tried to doctor them up by adding lots of salt and butter but it was useless The eggs had no salt or pepper although they do a nice job of cooking over easy eggs which some places fail at. Homefries, which were really hasbrowns, were mushy and bland. The pancake was dry. The bacon and toast were good.

Farm-Fresh Flavor with a Side of Small-Town Charm - Breakfast at The Farmer's Daughter in Urbana,…read moreOhio If you ever find yourself cruising through Urbana, Ohio with a hunger that only a hearty, home-cooked breakfast can satisfy, do yourself a favor and stop at The Farmer's Daughter. It's the kind of place where the biscuits are fluffy, the coffee's always hot, and the welcome is as warm as the griddle. This morning, we popped in for breakfast, and from the moment we stepped through the door, we knew we were in good hands. That feeling was confirmed when Holly, our waitress, greeted us with a smile and the kind of friendly service that makes you feel like a regular--even if it's your first visit. I went all-in with The Hog Log, and let me tell you, this is not your average breakfast burrito. It's a hearty wrap filled with sausage, bacon, ham, scrambled eggs, and cheese, all rolled in a soft flour tortilla and smothered in rich, homemade sausage gravy. Every bite had that perfect balance of smoky, creamy, and savory flavors--and the gravy? Next-level delicious. My wife ordered Uncle Dave's Favorite Breakfast, which comes with your choice of pancakes or French toast, eggs done your way, a breakfast meat, and toast. She chose pancakes, bacon (crispy but not burnt), whole wheat toast, and eggs over medium. The pancakes were fluffy and golden, the bacon had that perfect crisp, and the eggs were cooked just right--firm whites with warm, runny yolks. It was classic comfort on a plate. The décor is classic country diner meets local charm--think rustic wood accents, sweet signs on the wall, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to slow down and savor the morning. Whether you're a local or just passing through Champaign County, The Farmer's Daughter is worth the stop. The portions are generous, the food is fresh, and the service--especially from folks like Holly--makes the experience even better. So go ahead, order the Hog Log. Or Uncle Dave's. Or both. You'll thank me later. Sorry my camera wasn't working so no pictures Take the Trip, your Next Adventure is waiting. #TakeTheTripByBrian

This little diner has only a few tables, several stools at the bar, and only one cook and she operates at peak efficiency. Your yummy food will be delivered with a side of sass from your cook/server, & a lot of funny overheard conversations between your fellow diners and the lone woman staffing the counter. She'll keep your coffee refilled without having to be asked, and all the food will be perfectly prepared to order. Great experience! Definitely looking forward to another visit soon.

The design is very neat and represents small time country living well. The dining area consisted of 3 small tables and one large table in the middle. There were some stools at the bar and cooking area. Had some rustic old time wall decor. Prices were affordable (cash only!). I got the 3 egg ham and cheese omelette. My meal was just ok. Nothing special. My kids and wife got pancakes, French toast and sausage and gravy. I sampled all of there plates and it was great! I think I just chose the wrong meal personally. My family and I really enjoyed this place and we will have a lasting memory of it when talking about our travels. My only knock and anyone who follows me knows one of my biggest pet peeves is cash only places. No reason in today world do not accept credit cards with cheap things like Square and other apps available. I honestly did not see a "cash only" sign posted. But that could of been an oversight by me. The cash only is the only thing keeping this cute little establishment from getting a 5 star rating from me.

Walked in expecting a meat cathedral or a place where steaks whisper "buy me." What I found: cozy wood-fire vibes, a very friendly (non-biting) bear, and enough bourbon options to make an old man consider rewriting his will. The fireplace smelled like nostalgic childhood and good decisions--10/10 for ambiance and for making my sweatshirt and joggers feel almost fancy. #KindaUnderDressed #WelcomedAnyway Service Taylor is the reason civilization endures. Smiling, attentive, and kept my drink full even when I'm notoriously bad at hydration. If you know this bald guy, you understand how important my hydration is. #RefillPlease Food I ordered the French Dip: shaved prime rib, caramelized onion, provolone on a rustic roll that should have its own fan club, plus a cup of au jus that practically deserves a hug. Fries instead of the famous house BBQ chips because I'm a rebel who pays extra for potatoes. Fries were excellent., but who charges extra for fries? The audacity. Sweet tea was dangerously on point. Menu Notes From steakhouse splurges ($25-$45) to bar sandwiches and a 30-tap beer situation that reads like a sommelier's fever dream, there's something to fit every budget and ego. Apps include deviled eggs with ambition and pork belly that knows what it's doing. Desserts are fancy enough to make you consider wearing socks with sandals. Vibe and Price Felt classier than my usual sweatshirt-and-wind-joggers combo, though several patrons were clearly auditioning for "dinner with a trust fund." It's a little pricey, which is trending everywhere these days -- so I blame inflation and the 1845 potato famine. Also -- again -- fries cost extra. Someone explain this economy to me. Who should go Date night, impress-your-in-laws, or take your friend who brags about beer knowledge. Say "ask for Taylor" and thank me later. Final Score 3 out of 5 Bald Head Emojis: ‍‍‍ Minus one for price. Minus one for charging extra for fries. #CheapOldMan Would I go back? Yep. Had a great time catching up on the Madison County Gossip, excellent sandwich, great server, and atmosphere that makes even a bald guy feel a little fancier. #followforsnark Recommend to anyone who wants good food and a cozy, slightly upscale small-town vibe. #ShopLocal Walked in expecting a meat cathedral or a place where steaks whisper "Buy me."

Skinny's exceeded expectations. Not only did they have an exceptional assortment of burgers (juicy and filling), but they also surprised us with a great pork tenderloin. PT's are a regional favorite in Illinois and Missouri, and pretty rare east of Indiana. They're known for looking like a flattened piece of fried chicken with a bun that barely covers half the meat. This had a great taste, and the breading was not overcooked as it is deeper into the Midwest. Ordered two pieces of pie to go (rhubarb and coconut cream). Unless you hear otherwise, I expect they'll be a standout given their size and appearance. Skinny's looks like a rough roadhouse from its exterior, but is a convivial family hangout inside. Our waitress was friendly and very efficient. A pro. The French fries were also exceptional, though the coleslaw was just average (little more vinegar, please). Maybe that makes this a 4.8, but the humorous wall signs brought it back up up to 5 ("Many have dined here. Few have died."). Lot of good menu items, but this was the real deal for a burger fix.
