Had my car to this dealership on several occasions for brakes. went round and round for about 3 years. they tried to fix problem which sounded like when you were stepping on the brakes you were running over a metal trash can every time you stepped on the brakes. I was given all types of EXCUSES that it was dust on the brakes which they blew the brakes off and said it should be fine. Brought car in on 1-12 2021 for inspection to which I received a phone call from Tod, STATING that we needed brakes, rotor's and drums and the cost would be a 1,000.00. Also, when we purchased the car they told us that it was never in an accident to which I found out differently when I went to trade in the car at a different dealership that it was in an accident. I don't know if Mike and Billy Egan need the business that bad, but from past experience I WOULD never purchase A CAR FOROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! read more

I'm sure the workers at this dealership work hard and sell good cars, VW itself is very good, but from my experience I can't leave a good review. Long story short they held my car for 3.5 weeks to fix the AC which wasn't fixed after the winter, maybe a complex problem but they could have called and let me know I could have the car while they ordered a part. I called once every week, they never called. They're also more pricey than my local mechanic, so I don't need them for their services anymore. read more

I wish I would have looked here first before taking my car to them. I now know why they have a very low review. Not only did it take 3 weeks to get my car in but once they did they never contacted me to give me an estimate. They purchased additional parts without my consent and I ended up with a $900 bill for a thermostat, I say again $900 for a thermostat on a 2000 Jetta! When I showed up to the shop I understood why it took three weeks to get in because there was paperwork everywhere all over the counter the place was a disaster. Was sent to voicemail every time finally got on the phone with them and was told to stop busting their balls and to go order my parts from somewhere else. This is honestly the worst place to buy a car. At least my experience has been awful. Patrick Egen is a liar and useless salesman. He never answers my calls and since buying my car 6 months ago I've had several problems including tires, breaks and the driver side door not opening. So since I haven't been able to contact him I've had no choice but to leave as many bad reviews as I can. Patrick Egen is too young and too inexperienced to be "selling" cars. I had been thinking about buying a convertible for about a year and most recently saw an EOS online .Facebook,I think. I clicked on it and the dealer replied and told me the red one had been sold but that he would look for another one for me. I'm suspect about finding anything on Facebook since I had a tile floor put in by an unsavory kind of a guy and my best friend reminded me of that. She suggested I call Kelly's and Mr. Bill Eagan put me in touch with a salesman named Pat Sullivan. Pat was The Greatest! I can't say enough about his demeanor and ease with the entire transaction. I was comfortable and felt no pressure for him to make a sale. Everything, EVERY DETAIL, was taken care of by Pat. He went ABOVE and Beyond in helping to get me into the car I've been searching for. They have been the most honest mechanics I've found in Scranton. I've had other guys at numerous other shops give me long expensive lists of parts needing to be replaced that different from shop to shop. Then I've taken my car to Kelly's for a second opinion and quote only to have them tell me I only need a minor fairly inexpensive repair which ends up solving the problem completely. They stand by their work and they're incredibly friendly and easy to work with. They're it for my Beetle from now on. read more

If I could post negative stars I would. My girlfriend took her car here for service, and they kept her car for 2 months! On top of it when you would call to talk to their incompetent service manager, he would give you an attitude as if you couldn't call to inquire about your own car. Sold me a vehicle that had a laundry list of issues wrong with it. I had it 3 days!! They wouldn't fix the vehicle but took it back and gave me my trade in back stating they didn't even do any of the paperwork. I posted on my facebook page about my experience and the manager called me, called my mechanic a (4 letter word) crook and dirtbag then proceeded to hang up on me when I asked him not to use that language with me. Now today I receive in the mail a registration card for the VW that I returned!!! Oh and they said they were servicing the vehicle for years. If they were then they sold the vehicle knowing that there were major problems with it such as a leak in the turbo and a massive oil leak!! read more
