Scheduling was easy, and they provided a clear initial quote for the procedure, which I appreciated -- especially since I don't have dental insurance. However, I want to share my experience so others know what to expect. When I received the quote, I was told it would be $1,895 but could be up to $700 less. I understood this to mean that the extra charge would only apply if the extraction was more complicated than expected. Unfortunately, what wasn't communicated upfront is that the $700 was actually for an optional PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy. I didn't find this out until I was already in the chair, IV ready, and moments away from the procedure. That's when the doctor came in and pitched the benefits of PRP, saying it could help with healing and pain. He did say it was optional, but it felt more like an upsell -- as if my choice was to "do this or wing it." Given that I had budgeted for the higher end of the quote and didn't want to jeopardize my recovery, I agreed to the PRP. But I told the doctor right then that I felt uncomfortable about how this was presented -- and I still do. For me, this came across as a last-minute sales pitch rather than part of an informed consent process. If I'd known about this add-on ahead of time, I would have had the chance to do my own research and decide without pressure. On the positive side, my recovery has gone very well -- no pain in my mouth and good healing so far. (Day one) I just can't help but feel frustrated and a little sick to my stomach that I may have paid for something I wasn't given the time to properly evaluate. In short: I'm not saying don't go to this surgeon. The care itself was good. But I strongly recommend you ask detailed questions when you get your quote and don't be afraid to push for clear answers about optional procedures and costs. Buyer beware -- and be your own advocate!

I noticed it wearing down over the last few months but I don't exactly have dental insurance at the moment. It's for emergencies only. So my tooth, is hanging out on my bed while I am frantically calling the dentists from a list I have that should take my "insurance." Just as I was losing all hope I called this place. The woman on the phone was very sweet and told me they were going to close soon. I didn't want to hold anybody up so I asked if she'd prefer if I waited til next week (this was Friday and it's a holiday weekend) and she told me the (very nice and awesome) dentist was going to be out til the 12th. So this place was in a different town about 40 mins away. She said if I could make it before 3pm (it was like 2:07pm at that point. I was like, I will be there! Jumped in my car, threw my tooth in my purse and I made it! Everyone was so nice. I don't know of any place that would have waited for me like they did. Plus they were going on vacation and still waited. I made it a little after 3pm. I was lucky and the dentist was able to re cement my halved tooth back into place. I was there maybe 20 mins or so. Got an xray and a great experience to help with a crappy day. I am very pleased with this place. If I ever need anything again, I know where to go and I know I will be in good hands. That was my first time there and they treated me like we were old friends. I highly recommend this place. They helped me the same day it happened, like an hour after. I'm still in shock about what a wonderful place this is. To me it didn't feel like I was just a job to them. I am a happy panda.

Got a call 6 months later threatening me for collections for a 30 x ray charge. almost messed my credit up because of a clerical error, I had no idea. they had the wrong address and were sending me letters. mind you they took an x-ray for a filling they messed up ang charged me for it, ok. payed that. year later two fillings fell out. went to my new dentist and now I need a crown because of the work they did. thanks for nothing.
