And i didn't heal right the first time so I called and expressed to them how much pain I was in and June once again saved me but getting me in the same day and Dr Ryan Levine helped me by doing X-rays and filling in some of my work I had done. That worked until the following Saturday morning. So in a panic, I started calling every Dentist in Lake Havasu and left messages. A few hours later, I get a call from Dr.Shamos. He was very sympathetic, I sent him a picture, he made arrangements for his trusted Assistant Siobhan to meet at his office to reattach my crown. I contacted them on a Monday, after a weekend of extreme pain due to an infection. They got me in on the next day, Tuesday in the AM. I had recently moved to LHC from San Diego... and here's the rest of the story... I am in my mid-70s, had a botched denture procedure from a Tijuana dentist that took 6 months. A bad call on my part, as it basically fell apart after 3 months in LHC, thus causing the infection. The procedure with Dr. K was beyond fantastic! Now here's the kicker... When he saw my xray he pointed out a potential life-threatening situation... a carotid artery showed blockage. He recommeded I see a physician. That "discovery" most likely prevented a Stroke! I call it my STROKE OF GOOD LUCK! To wrap things up, I began Serentity's "Teeth in a Day" Implant procedure. Dr. K performed the surgery and I must say, he is a Master Craftsman at what he does. His patient's wellbeing is his major concern. He informs you of every move he makes, how long and why. He is a Natural Born Teacher. His staff is stellar and their comradery and conscientious attitude is unparalled. The follow-on 16-week care after the surgery was handled by Dr. Matharu "Manny" and Selene Castillo. Like many people, I stay as far away from the dentist…read moreoffice as I can... but I while visiting Havasu for the holiday, I was eating lunch & literally of my tooth fell out!! As I called around, no one could see me for days (or weeks), until I called Pleasant Valley Dental. The receptionist was very understanding & even apologized for only being able to do x-rays and a prelim exam that same day, with a repair appointment the very next day! Don't judge by the "no frills" office... a fancy office does you NO GOOD if you have a bad or painful experience! Dr Cebula was AWESOME!!! He was extremely thorough, very gentle, and the entire repair was pain-free!!! When I left, we went back out to enjoy ourselves on the boat, & even had a great dinner later that night (yes - I could eat !!!). Today is the day after my repair, I can honestly say I never had ANY pain, not even hours after the repair (with other doctors, usually my mouth would usually begin to throb a while after the procedure was done). I wish I lived here in Havasu, Dr Cebula would DEFINATELY be my dentist!!!!

(Not a usual reaction as he's had many past treatments here without issue.) The dentist became frustrated, throwing his hands in the air, and left the room stating he would need sedation without explaining the next steps. At no point were we given guidance on how to proceed with treatment since he does not provide that service per assistants response when I asked if he will be doing that. Given that this visit followed a traumatic accident, a little more patience and reassurance would have gone a long way, and we decided to seek care elsewhere. As a parent dealing with a child who had just experienced a traumatic accident, I was simply hoping for clear guidance and a little understanding during a stressful situation. We ultimately left the appointment without clear instructions on how to move forward with treatment for the broken teeth.

She took the time to know me. We had fun learning from each other all while having my teeth expertly examined and cleaned. I saw other happy hygienist too. My wish for other patients is that you will meet Jessica or other happy hygienists. The brief encounter with the dentist was cool too. Jessica offered but did not up sale the flouride treatment that most insurance companies do not cover unless under a certain age. I accepted. I hope every one has the pleasant dental experience that I had. The front staff was very good too.
