We used these guys to move and couldn't be happier! Highly recommend to anyone who needs anything…read moremoved. The guys were amazing with not only our things but our dog as well, they even tossed his ball a couple times for him! Not only was this move the smoothest we've had in a long time but the three guys doing were a dream team! We had a blast chatting with them and hanging out, felt like friends came to help us move! I'll never use anyone else now!

The WORST moving company I've ever dealt with. 801 Moving…read moreCompany is a complete disgrace. If you care about your furniture, your time, or basic human decency -- DO NOT HIRE THEM AND DO NOT BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS. I went out of my way to clearly communicate my expectations before the move: everything needed to be fully wrapped and handled with care. They acknowledged it. They agreed. And then they showed up and did the exact opposite. They didn't even bother to wrap my furniture properly. My dresser and my nightstand were rolled out on a dolly with just a blanket draped over the top -- the entire bottom fully exposed and unprotected. I have photo evidence. This wasn't a mistake. This was how they operate. One of their movers was missing for half the move, and the rest of the crew took 30 minutes to drive across the street. Yes, literally across the street. The level of carelessness and unprofessionalism was beyond anything I've ever experienced. When I confronted them with proof, they first admitted the crew took shortcuts -- then quickly flipped the script and tried to claim that throwing a blanket over a piece of furniture is their "standard practice." That's not a standard -- that's pure negligence, and they had the nerve to defend it. They refused to take accountability. They denied the damage was their fault. And instead of making it right, they offered me a half refund and called it a "goodwill gesture." This company is a scam. They cut corners, gaslight customers, and hide behind empty policies when they're called out. Avoid 801 Moving Company like your furniture depends on it -- because it does. I wouldn't trust them to move a cardboard box, let alone real furniture.

We had a very disappointing experience with All Smiles Moving…read more My mother-in-law booked them based on an estimate provided ahead of time (03/26/26) and paid a deposit. However, on the day of the move (04/09/26), they presented a new estimate that was higher than what was originally agreed to. Before the movers even arrived, my husband had already done a significant amount of the work himself, he moved all the boxes into the garage and disconnected the washer and dryer. The only items left in the home were the large furniture pieces. When the two movers arrived, they even commented that this was going to be an "easy move" because of how much had already been done. We were told a crew of 3 movers would be handling the job, but only 2 showed up for most of the move. A third mover didn't arrive until the last couple of hours to help with the unloading. Because of this, the move took longer than it should have and since they charge hourly, that directly increased the total cost. This seems like normal practice for them, a bait and switch. They also spent an excessive amount of time (about an hour) just wrapping furniture, which again added to the bill. At the end, the total came out to nearly $1,000 significantly more than expected. On top of that, we received inconsistent paperwork with different versions of the agreement, which makes the charges even more questionable. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and misleading. Despite the amount of prep work done ahead of time, the job still took longer and cost more than it should have. If you're considering using this company, I would strongly recommend getting everything clearly locked in writing and confirming crew size before the move starts. Unfortunately, we would not use them again.

All 4 people who showed up were extremely courteous, well mannered and respectful of each other, myself, my grandparents, my home, and the piano. They took such great care moving something so special. Safety was of the upmost priority and they took care to make sure the piano was well padded and set so that it wouldn't get damaged in the short drive. I was a little taken aback by the price tag of $250 to move a piano a short distance, but by the end, it was the best $250 I could have spent. I had zero worries, even in the rain. These guys are also very strong- my grandparents and I were amazed by their strength and ability to move the piano so fluidly and safely and knew a special heirloom was in safe and capable hands.

These guys are amazing!!…read more Received a confirmation before the move, and then they showed up right on time! They moved all of my things in from my move in less than two hours from a 16 foot Penske truck! They were even really helpful and put boxes in different rooms depending on where I needed everything. (which saved me time and energy!) Super friendly and reasonable prices. They take Venmo and Google pay. I will definitely call them again when I need to move!

They kept taking the light boxes and leaving the heavy boxes for my friends to move, this was even when I first told them to move the furniture, for THATS what I needed help with was the heavy furniture and boxes. Finally one of my friends told them and handed them the furniture to move. They ripped up the flooring in my apartment with the washer and just left it there for my friend's to unhook - and when carrying out dented the door. 3 of my furniture pieces are now cracked, and my desk fell apart when I grabbed it from the truck - when it was attached when I showed the guy my desk. My new dressers i got for my kids a year ago are all scratched up, and my entertainment center has scratches all over the doors. They never used any blankets I got in the uhaul to protect any of my furniture. The 2nd group of worker were great and did a great job. The first were appalling. I told my experience with 2 others who are moving and will not use their service. The fact now that I have to fix the repairs they did is upsetting and now having to replace furniture thats been cracked due to their handling.

They helped my family move over the weekend and they moved a lot of things. They did do a good job and lifting heavy and big things but what happened when they were all done was the WORST. We called this company a couple weeks before they came to move and wanted to get an estimate of how much everything would be. They said around $3,000-$4,000 which was understandable because we had a lot to move and we asked for 2 big trucks and 4 guys. Also we wanted to ask if we start getting charged when they leave the warehouse or when they get to our house and the uneducated lady that answered their phones said "oh you wont get charged until we get to your house" So they came with the 2 trucks but came with about 6 guys, which was more than we had asked for. It took more loads than they had planned because they FORGOT some things in the house that they had been told to take at the very beginning of the day!!!!! So by the end when Sao (the owner who is a nice guy but pretty much a crook) said that the total came to $8,000 freaking dollars!!!!!! SERIOUS!!!! Ok like I said we understood that it would be around $3,000-$4,000 but were in the hell did the $8,000 come from!!! For 2 days and 4 guys. It just didn't add up and when we were trying to figure out why it was so much they kept telling us random stupid things that they kept adding on for no reason. We have our own business and know the importance of customer service and making the customer happy and they SUCK at doing this. They didn't have any explanation to why it cost $8,000 and they lied when they told us they didn't charge us till they got to the house they all of a sudden changed their mind and said "oh no we charge when we leave the warehouse" NEVER EVER EVER USE this moving company. We had some friends that needed help moving yesterday and asked who we used and we told them NOT TO USE THIS CRAPY moving company. So Aloha Movers lost us as a client and 2 other potential clients. Awful experience! It left a sick feeling in our stomachs that we got screwed over so bad!!!!

I gave Smart Move 5 stars then, and chose to use them again this time, despite them being slightly more expensive. We were downsizing from 2400 sqft to a 1200 sqft condo. We had very little furniture and no appliances. The crew arrived on time and seemed physically capable. The loading of the truck went quickly - loaded in about 2 hours. The only plastic wrap used was on a large wicker basket end table. Not our glass gun case, not my piano, not the 1 dresser, not TVs, nor bookcases. The only complaints I had at that point was that we were repeatedly told "that" can't go on the truck. It's too fragile. It will get broken. Isn't that why I hired movers? I understand the cautiousness and can appreciate it to a point. When I questioned why our floor lamp and 4 table lamps could not be taken, I was told - "well if you don't care about them, we can put them on" and finally "you'll have to take off the lamp shades", which we did. The lamps were then neither secured nor wrapped in the truck. We have a 12 year old son with autism who struggles with change and anxiety. He overheard one worker say to the other that his roosmelled like sweat and Cheeto dust. I went ahead to the condo while my husband stayed behind to bring the remaining items. This is where the problems started. I suddenly felt like I was working with a bunch of teenagers that needed to be babysat. All semblance of professionalism was gone. The workers were very loud and disruptive, laughing and joking, despite there being many tenants at home on a Sunday at noon. Their cigarette butts littered the sidewalks. It was at this point I approached the truck to hear them laughing and referring to me as "that bitch". When I waited at the truck to direct things to the garage or condo, two of the three workers took forever coming back. When I went to the condo to direct there, they wouldn't bring anything up from the truck for extended minutes at a time. I estimate the group took 3 or 4 - 15 minute breaks in the 3 hours it took to unload. I can understand the need for frequent breaks for such difficult work, but not when no work was being done, and I'm paying by the hour. Despite there being three dollies, only one was used. 48" TVs were hoisted sideways overhead, while a box of bows and wrapping paper were placed on a dolly and gently monitored the whole way. At one point, my cedar chest full of items was dumped upside down and sideways on a dolly, unsecured and hauled off. When I mentioned the fragile nature of uhhh... everything, I was told oops, sorry. Another time a nicer foyer table was plopped on a dolly with a cube toy cabinet stacked on top. The next trip was a single barstool. I started feeling like my items were being held hostage. It wasn't until my husband arrived and was able to babysit upstairs and I at the truck that the move finally progressed. There was minor damage to a few items. Nothing that we reported. A wire shelving unit with broken assembly pieces, punctured and torn upholstery on a kitchen chair, joints to a bookcase jarred and separated. We understand risks like this are inherent to moving. We paid too much money to have our belongings disrespected and mistreated. The disrespect to myself and my family were a bonus, I suppose. I have pictures I will try to post. Sadly, I recommend going elsewhere.
