Pros: 1. Plentiful amount of fields, and not just weed or sand pits, actual grass/turf that is clearly cared for. 2. Ease of access, there's plenty of accessible parking and more than a generous amount of general parking lots, bathrooms, AEDs, field markers, and a thunder horn for when the weather gets dangerous. 3. Not too far from the highway, so getting here shouldn't be too much of an issue. 4. Plenty of natural shade/open space for children to play, and for the adults to run, bike and enjoy some soccer. Cons: 1. Some Not-so-friendly spectator areas, you may be settled on a hill or right in the beams of the sun. But at that point, you're asking for too much anyway. The players get nice fields and the coaches a clear technical area, the spectators should settle 2. If you're playing at a grass field, definitely make sure to bring a change of socks, the well maintained grass will get into your cleats. 3. Only one athletic trainer to go around some 20 fields, but this would be a bit nitpicky anyway. Definitely look at their field map on the SoccerPlex website before heading out, pinning the adjacent parking lot on your GPS will save your neck. This is a well designed complex and I wish my local soccer fields had turfs like the ones in this complex. Cheers!

I had bought cleats online at a different store and had to return them because they were way too small. We were able to try on several different cleats and found the perfect fit. (Two sizes up from what I had ordered BTW.) We we're also able to try on shin guards to find a new pair that also fit better. The store is on the second level of the plaza up the stairs. We will be back for our soccer needs!

In all my years as both a player and a coach, I have not seen another institution such as HP Elite and Beyond when it comes to elite soccer training. I've seen player after player emerge from this program to become incredibly successful people with careers in soccer ranging from players to coaches and trainers. I personally take my youth teams that I coach to train with HP every off-season and most of my more dedicated players take part in their training clinics year-round. There's honestly no better soccer training company in Northern Virginia for youth players. The trainers are all young, experienced, talented players who not only relate to youth players but have a way of inspiring them to reach a level of potential even higher than what they're capable of. 6 Stars if I could give it to them.
