The South Harbour Village Green POA used Willis Roofing to replace roofs on two four-plex…read morebuildings. The Willis Roofing team, JIm, Mallory, and Jennifer were amazing to work with. When they say they will do something, it is done. The crews and supervisor arrived onsite working unbelievably quiet throughout the days, and quite efficiently. When we researched roofing vendors, we saw how many '"5 star" reviews there were, and after the conclusion of our projects, we now understand why there are so many and proud to include ours.

I sent out a request for estimates for installing a tile backsplash in our kitchen on Thursday,…read moreJuly 18. The request went to three different firms. Pelaez Renovations responded the next day and came to the house on Saturday, July 20. I had an estimate later that day and work was scheduled for the following Saturday. The other two firms never responded at all. I was responsible for materials and had already purchased several decorative tiles. Juan Pelaez sent me photos and descriptions of exactly what additional tiles, mastic, grout and caulk I needed. Today, July 27, Juan and his helper arrived at the house at 8:00 AM. Five hours later the job was finished. Juan was meticulous and precise in his work and was careful to clean up afterwards. This was a small job, only 12.5 SF. It looks great and the total cost was just over $800, 30 percent of which was the decorative tile.

For those who dont want to read...the end product agreed upon is fantastic and very well built...I…read morewould even go as far as to say overbuilt...which is good. I truly dont think you will find a better product in the Wilmington area....they truly build great decks....for those that want to read....I will take you thru our process..... If you want a quick turnaround on your deck, dont count on it, it will take several months. They are busy. Process- Salesman arrives in March...he is fantastic and helps us solve a couple of issues we had concerns with...two other companies did not. He explained procedure....10% down, if you cancel you lose half of your deposit...40% when they start and balance of 50% when project completed. You will have to submit plans to HOA for approval, they will take care of all the other permits...very convenient. We had our down payment in by the end of March and were put in Que...we were told the completion date would be mid June to late June.....their price was higher than the other two quotes....significantly, however; the product and design offered is far superior...pay the money, you wont be sorry. No communication from the end of March forward until I contacted them during the first week of June to ask about start dates....I was told they were waiting on permits...so I checked on line...its public information...our permits were not put in until May 31st....this delayed the build...the project started around July 17th and was completed on August 2nd. I feel the permits could of gone in much sooner to keep on schedule. There were a couple of hiccups during the build that we caught before they became a major issue...I would highly recommend you be home for the build to insure it is how you envisioned the project. These minor issues were solved easily and without concern, but if they were not caught before/during construction could of been an issue. One of the issues was a change we made after agreeing to a certain build height of the pergola, but while watching it being built realized it was to low...they raised it, no problem. The other was a cosmetic design that was sold to us but was not conveyed to the contractor....this was also caught early and rectified. The last was the underpinning...we thought it was included with the build because the deck was two levels and found out at the end it was not. They gave us a very fair price to add it on and completed it without hassle. They also gave us a price to have the pergola painted once it has time to weather. All of the Owners/team members I had contact with were easy to deal with....Glenn, Mark, Dino and Josue were fantastic. The deck is awesome, constructed extremely well and in the end thats what matters....I would chose them again without question.

Buyers in and around Wilmington should be aware of Harrington Classic Homes. If you are building…read moreor planning to build with Harrington Classic Homes, do your research and for those who are, check your home's progress daily or pay someone to watch over it for you. I've bought homes in Wilmington before and by far this is one of the worse builders and office workers I've ever dealt with. Do not buy a home from this builder until you have checked with the Better Business Bureau, NC Builders Association, past clients, Google Reviews, Cypress Village Place owners, and other locations in and around Wilmington NC. This builder and its office workers are a scam. They have no work ethic, professionalism, horrible customer treatment, terrible communication, poor quality work and poor quality materials installed in their new homes. They will charge high prices and install low grade materials on your property. This builder and his employees are a scam, they will try to stop you from checking the house while it is being built to prevent you from seeing the poor quality work and materials being installed in your future new home. They charged my neighbor $18,000 at the last minute at closing and then they blamed it on COVID. What builder do you know who buys materials while building a community of 30 homes? This is the most greedy, reckless, disrespectful, inconsiderate, lier and careless builder that we as a community have ever known... They have also left our community on the brink of bankruptcy due to their lack of respect for humanity.
