The lobby of this building has a welcoming vibe and airy. They even have conference rooms and different elevators to go to the car park and to go to the units. The employees are courteous, very accommodating and friendly as well. Receptionist welcomes you with a smile. They don't discriminate against people who work in that building. (I have been treated not nicely in one of those buildings). When you arrive, you leave your car out front then the valet will park for you and gives you a card to claim your car later. To save time, they have a phone number to shoot them a message when you are ready to leave so by the time you are downstairs, your car is waiting for you.

Once lease was signed, I worked with Lauren to submit my final paperwork, security deposit, and get my keys. This whole entire process with WHAB was easy and quick. I appreciate the team's welcoming nature and willingness to give me the time of day to answer any questions I had. It leaves me questioning why my proposed rent has not been adjusted and whether another applicant could secure the unit while I wait. I'm not sure what management's intentions are, but the lack of reassurance and clear communication makes me feel that my application is not being valued. I am ready to move forward and simply want a fair, transparent opportunity to secure a home. The voucher is guaranteed here no later than Friday. As i contacted superiors at HACLA. Even with that information, being told the unit could still be rented to someone else is very unsettling, especially because I have children and need to move by November 1. I was the first to apply and paid the application fees I was told everything looks good, and the only remaining item is the voucher email, which the supervisor confirmed has been expedited. They gave us ample notice if any other inspections or maintenance had to be performed. We especially liked that they would drop off an envelope at your front door and then pick it up on rent day. If you missed it, you could go to their office to drop it off. When it was finally time to move, they were very reasonable with the security deposit (we got it all back! we are very clean and respectful people, but no one can prevent every ding or scrape). It was night and day comparing to our previous experience at a "luxury" apartment complex. I think some of the negative reviews forget that they are running a business. They don't have a ton of time to necessarily coddle every tenant, especially when they AREN'T charging an arm and a leg for everything. Just be nice and reasonable and that's what you'll get back.
