Mark Komac was our listing agent when Mom put her house up for sale. First thing I want to say is,…read moreMark was AWESOME! With Mark's knowledge and expertise we settled on a price, and got above asking price, in only 2 days after listing! There were many legal things related to selling a house, that we didn't have any knowledge of. Mark knows all those things, and patiently talked us through all of it. Repeatedly if necessary! That's the bottom line, but there's way more than that. The sale of Mom's house was an emotional decision from the start. She simply couldn't maintain a house any longer and needed to move into a senior living place. However, she really didn't want to move out of her home. We settled on a listing date. Again, with Mark's help. Emptying and cleaning out a house, that someone has lived in for 61 years, is a big deal, to say the least. Mark was super helpful! Going way above and beyond! He helped us know what exactly needed to be done and also what didn't. Always with compassion for our emotions, but also with knowledge of the market. He helped us move big furniture, remove nails from walls, then patch and paint those holes. He helped us decide what needed to go where and most importantly, gave my mom time, to let go of those things. Never rushed her just for the sake of hurrying a sale. In the end, the house is sold. Mom is settling nicely into her new apartment. She's making friends, and says it was as good of an experience as it could've been to sell her home. Her kids helped her. We were able to help her, because Mark helped us! I thank him for that! Also, we all loved the cookies he gave us!

They know…read moreeverything there is to know about buying and selling and they really get to know you during the entire process. I first met Karen when my boyfriend and I wanted to go see a house I found on Zillow. From there, she took us on many hunts for a new home. She really understood what we were looking for and worked with our price point. Prices have risen a lot recently, so we have yet to purchase a home, but in the meantime, I decided to sell my own townhome. Of course I asked Karen to be my realtor! Karen spent many, many hours talking with me in person AND on the phone, sending emails, and even texts. She was the most responsive realtor I could have hoped for and always had helpful, detailed answers for every single one of my questions. If she was unavailable at any time (which was rare!), Patrick stepped in seamlessly to assist. Karen worked with my HOA, the title company, and the buyer's agent to get all the information needed and everything always had an incredibly fast turnaround time. Karen and Patrick even did the staging for my home and it turned out AMAZING! I very nearly had second thoughts about selling the place! Karen had a professional photographer take the photos for the listing and they turned out really well. Patrick took some of the photos himself and they were excellent - he has a great eye for how to take listing photos! Karen and Patrick even did a virtual tour website and gave me a DVD with the staging photos as a keepsake. When the house was in the final closing stages, Karen and Patrick came by to collect their staging items and even helped me getting some of my heavier items into my moving truck. This was such a great help to me and I appreciated it so much. On the day of closing, Karen actually drove me to the office and was there to help walk me through all the documents before signing. It was a HUGE help and such an amazing thing for her to do. I really felt she had my back from start to finish. On top of all this, Karen and Patrick are two of the most warm and genuine people I have met. They both have a great sense of humor and extensive knowledge on every aspect of the buying and selling process. Karen's past experiences as a broker and Patrick's past experiences at Zillow make them a really well-rounded team who will give you the best real estate expertise around. In fact, I dare you to find anyone better! Karen and Patrick are the best team you could ever ask for and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them whether you are selling or buying. They ROCK!!

Around The Clock is an excellent property management group to work with. I've had experience with…read morethem as both a property owner and as part of an HOA BoD. As a property owner with a rental, Dawn went out of her way to find excellent tenants and managed every step of the process with professionalism and a complete understanding of tenant laws. She did a great job for me and if I was keeping my property, I would continue to work with Dawn and Around The Clock. As an HOA member, Around The Clock ALWAYS has the best interest of the owners in mind and works closely with the BOD to ensure we are making the best decisions possible for the tenants. In addition, they kept us from getting into to trouble and constantly help us to ensure conformity to our CCCRs and Rules and Regulations. Can't recommend them highly enough! PS: To those posting complaints about your HOA, this is NOT Around The Clock. This is YOUR HOA and if they are not doing what you want, get involved and say something. As a former HOA BOD member, I can tell you that that majority of owners only want to get involved when they want to complain. I served on a BOD for 10-years so I know what I'm talking about. The majority of complaints below have nothing to do with the property management company.

I have lived in my community for 22 years, and Around the Clock Inc. has managed our HOA for nearly that entire time. This perspective comes from long-term experience, not a single incident. Over the years, the most consistent issue has been a lack of communication and responsiveness from management. Attempts to reach the company by phone are generally unsuccessful, and email responses are often delayed or never received. One example occurred about 15 years ago when the management company changed the bank used for automatic HOA payments. This change was not communicated to our household. Our bank confirmed that payments were still being sent to Around the Clock Inc., yet a lien was placed on our home due to the payment processing issue. When we attempted to contact the management company by phone, we received no response. Eventually, through email communication and considerable effort on our part, the issue was investigated and it was acknowledged that our household had not been notified of the banking change. The situation was eventually resolved, but it required significant time and stress due to the lack of communication. In another instance, when I raised concerns about unanswered calls and emails, the response minimized the issue and suggested that additional attempts should have been made to establish contact. At the same time, management indicated that they typically send only one communication regarding important matters and do not follow up beyond that. This approach makes it difficult for homeowners to resolve issues efficiently. Communication is also inconsistent in other ways. The company regularly sends emails notifying residents about office closures for holidays and extended winter leave. However, when it comes to issues that directly affect the community--such as repairs or maintenance--updates are rarely provided. For example, the security gate in our gated community has been non-operational for extended periods over the years. At the time of writing this review, the gate has been non-operational for four consecutive months with no proactive updates regarding repair progress or timelines. The impact of this lack of responsiveness is felt throughout the neighborhood. During this period of the gate not functioning, multiple vehicles in our community were broken into. Situations like this understandably raise concerns among residents about safety and accountability. Over the years, many neighbors have expressed feeling ignored and unsupported. While homeowners are held to high standards within the HOA, concerns raised about management are often dismissed with the explanation that the company manages many properties. While we understand that property management companies have multiple responsibilities, homeowners reasonably expect timely communication and basic responsiveness for the services being provided. I understand the value and benefits that an HOA can bring to a community. Unfortunately, in my experience, management by Around the Clock Inc. has not delivered those benefits. After more than two decades of dealing with these ongoing issues, the stress and frustration have significantly impacted the morale of our neighborhood. I cannot recommend this management company. Our community would benefit greatly from new management.

I had the very good fortune to have Alec recommended to me by my sister, who was working with him to purchase a home-- if I remember correctly, I think Alec called me less than 30 minutes after she texted him! Alec and the team behind him at Jon Bye were fantastic throughout the process-- like some of the other reviewers have mentioned, you get regular updates-- and most important to me, I always felt like I could ask Alec about this or that part of the process and get solid information back WITHOUT pressure. Alec sat down with me at the start of the process to explain the steps, kept me updated throughout, and we closed early. Just a great experience!

#THANKYOUTHURSDAY…read more For my last hike before I went on a hiatus til spring (thx pregnancy) we decided to do a sunrise hike. Sunrise in the summer is REAL early so yeah... Coffee was needed. Not many places in the Kent area were open. Not Starbucks, that's for sure - and most independent coffee stands weren't open at 3:45 am either. Didn't really want McDonald's coffee... So we went for Bigfoot! We pulled up and the only customers at the stand. Imagine that. The employee was (understandably) not very talkative and got us in and out quickly. I got the Nutty Yeti. It was decent. Best coffee I've ever had? No. Strongest coffee I've ever had? No. However... It was coffee at 3:45 am and that's what mattered. Thank you, Bigfoot, for being 24 hours. People like me appreciate you.

There has been on occasion that I do not have 15-20 minutes and I will go up the road to another location. But thankful for the job their baristas due to put a smile on your face. Oh and the stickers are pretty cool too.
