Dr. Clark is an amazing vet. We live about 45 minutes from BMAC, over the mountain toward DC and…read morewe still make the trip to Dr. Clark. In the last 10 years two of our dogs contracted Lyme. One dog was taken to a vet right outside of DC. Horrible experience, 1 1/2 of giving drugs to a dog who hated them (AND he was a mastiff, just try to accomplish that). Dog recovered from lyme but ended up dying from liver failure from all the drugs. Our next dog that had lyme, we took to Dr. Clark. A quick burst of antibiotics and the dog is still with us and happy 7 years later. I had chronic lyme myself (and healed from it) so I know the ins and outs. I know that some you catch early and they can get rid of it BUT, the first vet did not know what he was doing and continued to give the prescription even after health significantly deteriorated. Dr. Clark has a great sense of intuition about what is going on with the animal. Even though, I knew much about lyme, it was the last thing I thought about, Dr. Clark pinned it right away. This is something I feel all doctors need to develop and use. Thanks Dr. Clark!

They RUINED my cat. I paid over $2k to correct this issue. Therefore, ZERO STARS. They are LUCKY I'm too poor and kind to Sue them!

Ive had my fills of riding all over winchester to find decent vet. although they dont allow you in to be with your pet during the exam, I very much wish they would change that, I was always welcome back home in my home state of NJ to assist with calming my cat. Never have I found a more professional vet then Dr Buchoff in NJ.... No one battled with me like certain vets did at home. . Being a RN I watch things differently then the general public. so I am very satisfied with Valley, and all my other pets (RIP) also...sadly missed.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. If you love your pet and want them to receive actual…read morecare, steer clear from this place. A couple of years ago, my pet had his eye removed and a prosthetic put in. Recently, he had a terrible fall that dislodged the prosthetic, causing him intense pain and severe swelling. He was completely lethargic and not himself--it was a terrifying medical emergency, which is why we rushed him to this clinic. We arrived at 6:30 PM, gave them the rundown, and the receptionist explicitly told us we were second in line. What followed was six hours of absolute agony and disrespect. After two hours of total silence, we checked in only to be told we were "next." We then sat there until 12:00 AM--six full hours of being ignored. To make a horrible situation worse, we watched other people come in long after us with far less serious injuries and get taken straight back while my pet sat there suffering. All of this happened in a miserable environment with a broken AC unit, leaving us to sweat in a hot room, trapped in rock-hard, incredibly uncomfortable seats. When I finally realized they had no intention of actually seeing my pet and decided to leave, the woman at the front desk was incredibly nasty to me. It is completely unacceptable to leave a suffering animal in a waiting room for six hours with zero updates, only to catch an attitude when you finally break. I will never, ever bring a pet back here. Save yourself the heartbreak and go somewhere that actually cares.
