The Window Source recently replaced our back doors with sliding glass doors with built-in blinds…read more The company came to make an estimate in a timely fashion, and the options were impressive. The cost also fit nicely into our budget. The installers were experienced and polite, the process took about four hours. It did take a few weeks for the news doors to be made to our specifications, which is the only negative thing about the experience, but as happy as my husband and I are with the doors, the wait was worthwhile. I give The Window Source a 5 stars recommendation!

Caveat Emptor on 2 Added Fees to Quote!!!…read more After seeing their TV commercial, we called Window Source to bid on replacing windows. Their TV commercial says $6567 for ten (10) white, double hung windows, with NO mention of 2 added fees! They were 1 of 4 window bidders. Window Source sent us 2 quote options - both had a $150 old window disposal fee (even though we were taking care of that disposal) AND a "4% Convenience Fee" (we were to pay by check, not a credit card, so it's not a credit card fee). We then texted their estimator on the 2 fees- the estimator texted back, saying the owners explained to him that 4% fee was because they were a small business! Note: none of the other 3 bidders added on a disposal fee or a "Convenience Fee". We then directly called Window Source on the fees - the answers were vague. Bad way to do business! We've selected Window Tamers for the work (we'll review them about the work after it is completed).

I hired him to build a house and have $10k deposit. A week later before any work or material was purchased I had to cancel. Lafoon refused to return the deposit. Buyer beware. Do not use this company…read more Hired Carl on Oct 7. Fired him Jan 6th. We had three big projects for Carl and his team to work on. So far none of them have been completed yet he charged me every week, even when wasn't done. He always claimed it was for materials and payroll. During the time Carl and his crew were working here he had excuses for 26 to 30 days that no one showed. It's always something with him. I have specific dates and excuses written down. I did the math and I've paid Carl $13,767 for some work on my porches, 3 gates, 3 ceiling fans hung (out of 7) and a few wood boards. Don't hire this guy.

I like coming to the Johnson City Home Depot because normally the employees are very helpful and I…read morehad a great experience dealing with one of the managers. This evening, not so much. We walked around and around and around the entire store trying to find someone to help us with the bath tubs and showers. Nobody could be found. There were a couple employees here and there we spotted across the aisles, but soon disappeared before we could get to them. Finally stopped by customer service to ask if anyone was working the tub/shower department....the one lady paged twice, but no luck, nobody responded. She asked what I needed and I said, "I would like to buy a tub/shower. I need it to be delivered and installed." She said, "Ok, I'm trying to get them to call me on 325." A few minutes went by and I said, "You're customer service, can I have you help me set up to have my tub/shower delivered and installed?" She said, "Yes." I'm thinking, "Well why wouldn't you say that in the beginning when you asked me what I needed?! But nonetheless." The other girl asked what day I would like it delivered. I asked if they deliver on Sunday and the other lady says, "No, I mean unless you got an extra 20 bucks." I thought about the exchange of conversation thus far and decided to end it there. I had no desire to deal with these two any longer and walked away. Home Depot, If you don't want to lose business, you might want to hire people that actually have customer service experience.
