Poor quality - would not accept responsibility. I had Tri-City Glass cut and glue 4 mirrors on…read moremedicine cabinet doors. The mirrors showed defects within 6 months. The mirrors had corrosion around the edges and circles showing through the mirror. They had used a silicone adhesive that destroyed the black backing on the mirrors and had not sealed the edges of the custom cut mirrors. The edges were showing corrosion within 6 months. Company did offer to redo the mirrors for $100 but did not accept that the adhesive was the cause of the problem and also would not seal the edges. Went to another glass company that identified the wrong adhesive immediately also told me they seal the edges after cutting mirrors.

The table was very expensive and I was told, by Tri-City glass, that they did not have the means to do the job. But, they could send it to New York and have it done there with laser cutting and drilling. The quote for the new glass was almost $350. Fair enough, as long as the results were high quality. So, I eventually took delivery of the new glass. It looks like someone cut it with a darned jigsaw. There is little point in complaining as Tri-City glass made it clear they can't do the job...their sub-contractor is definitely sub-par and has not done this strong business any favors.

The Window Source recently replaced our back doors with sliding glass doors with built-in blinds…read more The company came to make an estimate in a timely fashion, and the options were impressive. The cost also fit nicely into our budget. The installers were experienced and polite, the process took about four hours. It did take a few weeks for the news doors to be made to our specifications, which is the only negative thing about the experience, but as happy as my husband and I are with the doors, the wait was worthwhile. I give The Window Source a 5 stars recommendation!

Caveat Emptor on 2 Added Fees to Quote!!!…read more After seeing their TV commercial, we called Window Source to bid on replacing windows. Their TV commercial says $6567 for ten (10) white, double hung windows, with NO mention of 2 added fees! They were 1 of 4 window bidders. Window Source sent us 2 quote options - both had a $150 old window disposal fee (even though we were taking care of that disposal) AND a "4% Convenience Fee" (we were to pay by check, not a credit card, so it's not a credit card fee). We then texted their estimator on the 2 fees- the estimator texted back, saying the owners explained to him that 4% fee was because they were a small business! Note: none of the other 3 bidders added on a disposal fee or a "Convenience Fee". We then directly called Window Source on the fees - the answers were vague. Bad way to do business! We've selected Window Tamers for the work (we'll review them about the work after it is completed).
