We've had Keith paint for us. He painted two bathrooms, two bedrooms. Patched each room, did extensive work in our bathrooms as we changed fixtures, relocated glass shelves. We had him install our new towel bars, toilet paper holder and hand towel rings. He did precision work, cleaned up after each days work, made sure everything met expectations. He moved furniture in our bedrooms and returned everything exactly where it belonged upon completion. Because of the quality of his work we had him return to paint our family room. Again an awesome job. Again today he came to fix two doors a porch door needed adjustments with strike plate, overall realignment, rubber door seal. The French door had rot that needed to be cut out and repaired, installed rubber door seal, new sweep, door required overall adjustment, including strike plate adjustment. He will return in a few weeks to help us out with another small project. Keith is professional, a great communicator, makes sure he does a walk through upon completion of his work. Keith did a wonderful job for us on several things we needed done: He replaced rotted window trim around our shed window, retaped drywall, sanded, and painted our garage wall, and leveled our four- season porch steps which had dropped due to a bit of a wash-out because of a poorly placed downspout, which he repositioned. He never prepped the wood as he explained was necessary for this paint and as explained on the paint manufacturer's website. When I questioned him about this, he claimed sanding and blowing off the debris was enough. Not according to the paint manufacturer!! He left staples in the wood and just painted over them! He never sanded around nail holes or removed splinters/ loose fibers! I need to hire somebody else to fix his mess!! read more

Keith has been working for me throughout the summer. I pay him based on the hours I keep him busy. Moving boxes, lots of furniture, installing drapery rods, hanging pictures, cleaning rain gutters, reorganizing my outdoor shed, trimming the tops of hedges that were too tall for me to do, assembling furniture; all this work was associated with moving; to, from and back again involving three houses. It seems no job is too big or small. He created a spice rack for me after I told him of "my vision". He always asks for "my vision" of the work to be done. If Keith walks through a doorway and observes something lose or askew, he offers to fix it; like a loose door lock, a shaky table or chair He cleans up his workspace. When he completes a task he always confirms that I am satisfied. Sometimes when I think we are done completing my list for the day, he reminds me of something I had mentioned. I am always losing track of my iPhone or my car keys and he can tell me where he last saw them. Bingo! He is prompt, patient, cheerful, innovative, consistent, speedy, analytical, thorough and precise. Obviously I can't say enough good things about Keith. He made it possible for me to "go forward" in my endeavors. I have observed commentary and pictures of a job where the customer is not satisfied. Knowing Keith through my experience, I question if she communicated with him and let him know her concerns. Her results do not reflect my experience or that of other comments. I hired my Young to do a make over on my first floor of my town house 4 years ago; He was very open to find how I wanted my ceiling, new bamboo floor, walls repainted and in general consulted with every detail to assure that my make over was as I wanted it to be; The results were amazing and the quality of his works still holds up today; I was impressed with his laying the plans with me, fore the started his work. I would recommend Keith Young for all your home repairs. He is a meticulous worker. Even with massive rain delays he would always call to make sure we knew when he was coming which was wonderful since he had already rearranged his schedule to meet ours to do the job.
