I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Young. My mom had been struggling with sudden…read moreand persistent skin rashes for weeks that spread throughout her entire body. The rashes were so itchy that it kept her up all night and made her so sleep deprived during the day. She visited both her primary care doctor and a dermatologist, but unfortunately, the medications they prescribed didn't bring any relief. That changed when she saw Dr. Young. From the moment he looked at her rashes, he seemed to know exactly what was going on. He diagnosed her quickly and confidently, and the treatment he prescribed worked almost immediately. The rashes improved significantly after the first night. My mom finally experienced relief after weeks of discomfort and frustration. Dr. Young's expertise, attentiveness, and quick action made a world of difference. We're so thankful for his care and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate physician.

It was black, purple, and blue and the ankle was swollen when I arrive at Dr, Sheidayi. He took the time and went over many labs I have from various specialist over several years since. I also have Lupus, Sygrogen Syndrome, Rheumathoid Arthritis, High Blood Pressure, and High Cholesterol. My liver and kideny numbers were also high = ATS and ALT. Immediately he started me on Farxiga/Diapagliflozin and adjusted many of my other meds I was on. He started referring me to ALL new specilaist. I got a new Rheumatologist, Cardiologist, Gastroentrologist, Pulmanologist, Hemotologist, Nephrologist, etc. He actually calls them on my behalf in fornt of me at times to coordinate best treatments for me. I am so thankful I had him on my team and coach, because I ended up being diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double masatectonopy in 2021 and Dr, Sheidayi has been instrumental in getting my ALT and AST down so that I was able to undergo the surgery. I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with Dr. Sheidaei…read more During a very difficult time, when my father had just been discharged from the hospital in poor condition and I did not yet have a family doctor, I was referred to Dr. Sheidaei's office and was given an appointment. While on the way, I called to inform them I would be about 5 minutes late, but I was told I had no appointment and that the doctor was not accepting new patients, despite the fact that I had already been scheduled and selected under my insurance. I want to mention that the office itself was clean, quiet, and well organized. There were two receptionists present, and both of them were respectful, kind, and did their best to assist us professionally. After insisting, I was told to come in. My father was in a wheelchair, weak and confused, and needed care. Unfortunately, Dr. Sheidaei's behavior was very unprofessional. He appeared impatient, dismissive, and spoke to us in a disrespectful manner. He also stated that he does not accept Medi-Cal patients, which was confusing given the prior confirmation. What was most upsetting was the tone and attitude we received during such a vulnerable moment. Instead of compassion, we felt judged and unwelcome. When I asked if he could also see my mother in the future, he responded in a very inappropriate and humiliating way, saying in a threatening tone that I should "not push things" or he might refuse to see my father as well. This was extremely distressing and unacceptable, especially given my father's condition. I understand that medical offices are busy, but basic respect and professionalism should always be present, especially when dealing with patients in critical conditions. I am sharing this so others are aware of my experience and he could have treated this situation more professional instead of taking advantage of me being alone and weak

Plus, their offices weren't very responsive or helpful. She had been concerned about the drive to Irvine since she doesn't live in OC, but after meeting him today about a list of issues, she walked out feeling empowered and happy to be in some expert hands. I went with her to her appointment so I was there to see how he treated her. He asked her questions, listened to her answers, and carefully examined her as if she were his own mom. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that level of care and patience. Now my mom can't stop talking about how amazing Dr. Mikhail is -- she said that all her other doctors have never been so thorough. For instance, she has had breathing issues the last few years yet no one had ever had her do a breathing test to figure out the cause. Dr. Mikhail quickly got a test ready for her, then diagnosed and treated the issue. I can't thank Dr. Mikahil enough for all these years of outstanding service, expertise, and kindness. He is the kind of doctor that won't run batteries of tests on you unless it's actually called for. I now live 50 miles away from his office and will still make the drive down to see him. I've recommended a number of friends and colleagues to him throughout the years and they all agree that Dr. Mikhail is hands-down the BEST internist around. We are SO LUCKY to be his patients! P.S. Dr. Mikhail's office is WONDERFUL. They are on top of everything and are smart, patient, sweet, and always helpful.

Not to mention his staff and him were too lazy to even to type out a linki shared with them that had my health records. This doctor and his staff actually told me they "can't copy and paste" the link because their portal doesn't allow it. They didnt even try to type out the link on the browser or anything because never got a notification that someone was requesting access to the link. They just looked at the link and said no come in with a hard copy we're not going to bother with the link. Rudest and most inconsiderate response and handling of a patient records. I have never had a doctor so lazy and ignore my health needs like this doctor. And his staff are extremely rude and condescending and rush you off the phone every time. This doctor didnt look at the blood work at all. Other doctors saw my blood work and recommended things based off my family history because they saw things that concerned them. And when I went back to ask him about it and to look at my labs again and order extra testing because of this condition that runs in my family, he literally dropped me as a patient and said "there's a problem with our doctor-patient relationship." This guy is joke and he doesn't even answer questions. If god forbid you have a question, he actually gets annoyed if you ask him too many questions. He is very impatient, lazy, not thorough, and gives off an atmosphere that he hates his job. The 5 star reviews in here are fake trust me.

What started as a small bump on my father's skin -- which he specifically expressed concern about -- was brushed off by Dr. Afrasiabi as "possibly an infected pimple." We trusted her professional judgment, and that was a mistake. That so-called "pimple" turned out to be a fast-growing aggressive cancerous tumor. We just spent 12 hours in the hospital between radiology scans and a three-hour surgery to remove the tumor. When we returned to this office last week, Dr. Afrasiabi didn't apologize, didn't show empathy, and didn't take any responsibility for the misdiagnosis. She acted as if getting cancer was no big deal. And mind you all 3 devices of EKG were broken the day of our visit, which needed to be done urgently to get clearance for his operation today on 12/3/25. The lack of compassion was shocking. No patient -- especially someone facing a cancer diagnosis -- should ever be treated this way. I am deeply disappointed that someone like this Dr. Afrasiabi is allowed to care for patients. This may have been prevented months ago if the doctor had listened to my father's concerns and taken his symptoms seriously. But now we are forced to spend the next week anxiously waiting for biopsy results, praying the cancer hasn't spread and hoping for the best possible news. If you're looking for a doctor who listens, shows empathy, and takes concerns seriously, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
