I never write bad reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. Bryan was rude from the start and even kicked me out of the chair while giving me an attitude the entire time. I briefly opened my Snapchat, which defaults to the camera screen, and swiped into my messages within a second. He immediately accused me of taking pictures of him and said it was rude. I told him I wasn't taking photos and had no reason to, but he insisted he saw me and threw a fit over it. Because of his behavior, someone else had to finish cutting my hair. This was extremely unprofessional, and I would never allow someone like that to represent my business. Hope owners realize what's going on when they're not able to see. read more

I asked for a medium fade--something extremely basic--and he not only didn't do it correctly, but acted annoyed that I even asked. When I tried to speak up about what I wanted, he became rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. No listening, no effort to adjust, and zero accountability for how bad the haircut turned out. I walked out genuinely shocked at both the result and the attitude. If you care about your appearance or expect even a minimum level of respect as a customer, do not go here. Went in for a last minute haircut on a Sunday. They had a few appointments left, I picked the earliest one which was two hours out. My hair is medium length so I needed a scissor cut. Issa killed it! I had to walk across the street and ask a barber to shave my head as there was no rectifying what the stylist at Keep It Cut had done to my hair. I used to love this place but the employee turnover has been terrible. After a price increase I feel that the service is going downhill. Haircuts are often delayed from overworked stylists. Went online, registered and booked an online appointment for 12:50 pm today. Arrived about 10 minutes early. Two women were cutting hair. There was one person waiting. No one was at the reception desk. No one acknowledged my entry. The names of the women cutting hair were not noted. Just after 12:50 one of the women finished and looked at the register and went to the back. She returned after a short time, used a small brush to clean her instruments, used a hair dryer to to blow hair and debris that was on the floor towards the direction I was sitting (doesn't that get aerosolized?), then took a broom and swept up the area. She also sprayed the work table with some spray can but did not wipe it down, rather used the hair dryer on it. She then walked over to the other person waiting and greeted them, taking him to her chair. The other woman cutting hair then finished went to the register and asked if I had an appointment. I replied yes at 12:50 and she said for some reason it was not booked. There were no openings now but said if I waited for another 15 minutes or so the other hair cutter/stylist would be done and would take me. I left and said I would come back and went to wait in my car. After thinking about the experience I decided not to follow through. If there were others available to speak to, like a receptionist, I would have. I did not want to wait to tell them I was not returning. read more

This is a terrific addition to the neighborhood...a great haircut at a reasonable price in a speedy amount of time! I was a walk in and had to wait about 15 minutes as there was only one stylist there (Karol) but it was worth the wait. I totally understand that they can't be fully loaded with staff as a start-up and during Covid. Off hours are probably the best to go and you can sign in online prior to coming. The owners are really missing out when this business is listed online as a Men's Hair Salon. That leaves out half if not more of the thousands of women who live in the central part of Scottsdale. Especially older women who like to wear their hair short. I had to ask when I went in if they cut women's hair. Off putting but I am glad a took a chance and will be back. read more

I showed up for an appointment and they didn't have a reservation, first time I get it. "Family death" Second time, oh mistakes happen. Third time we're under new management, fourth time: It's a joke. You arrive and they don't have you on the books. Today the fifth and final missed appointment time for myself and another member and we're canceling our memberships. What is the point of having a membership AND an appointment and not getting your hair cut.. " we can take you in an hour" oh yeah I'd love to wait an hour!
