There's not a lack of recruiters. But my experience with RecruitAbility has been unlike a typical…read morerecruiting relationship: (1) Nad and his team are extremely personable and get to know your company so they can provide more consultancy around the hiring process, (2) they have a unique compensation structure that helps create better cash flow earlier in the process instead of getting hammered for 3 months with heavy fees, (3) They follow up months after the hire with data and feedback on the new employees' perspective to help ensure a healthy working relationship with great retention. I'll keep working with Nad, Richard, and their team at RecruitAbility in the future.

I was headhunted by Michelle Carlberg via LinkedIn. After a good initial phone screen, we scheduled…read morea follow-up interview. However, she canceled the interview only 25 minutes before it was supposed to start, claiming the client was "interested" and she was finalizing next steps. After that cancellation, she went completely silent for over a week. I had to personally follow up just to receive a generic, automated rejection template. Having worked in recruiting myself (including at Express Employment Professionals), I found the lack of transparency and the last-minute cancellation to be incredibly unprofessional. If you are a passive candidate, be wary of your time being wasted here.

When I was unemployed for over a year after losing my well paying corporate job due to COVID, I was…read moredepressed. I applied for 20-50 jobs every week. Made it to 4th and 5th round interviews, and applied to things I was under, exactly and over qualified for. Depression turned to despair and other staffing agencies I had reached out to from the start couldn't find anything or things never worked out. When I contacted A-List, they were so friendly, professional and optimistic. They took time to listen and carefully considered the job descriptions that I was looking for. I got matched pretty quickly with a temporary position that I really enjoyed. Then again in January of 2022, they matched me to the place I am still working at. I love this job and will be hired on full time very soon. They couldn't have matched me with a more perfect job! It's work that is in a new industry to me, but it's only growing and I'm learning so much! They also stay in contact regularly. I highly recommend them! Ask for Cory or Jen-they're the best!!

I first heard about Peak Performers through another online review, so I thought I'd pay it forward…read moreand leave one of my own. As a job seeker, I really appreciated the friendly staff who greeted me at the front desk. The atmosphere of the office was calm and professional, and several people went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome. When you're stressed with looking for work, those types of things are memorable. The registration process was similar to other staffing firms. I liked that the application/paperwork was up-to-date and minimal compared to similar companies I'd visited. The paperwork, interview and testing took me about 1.5 hours to complete. Highly recommended, especially for anyone looking for contract opportunities with state agencies. I also found a wealth of helpful information on their website (peakperformers.org).

With the excellent and professional guidance of both Elissa and Sydney, I was able to find not only a new position, but also a company that I feel passionate working for! My first meeting with Elissa was wonderful and insightful. She took the time to really get to know me to ensure that I would be a good fit for Scion's client. As we continued to get to know each other, she offered very helpful ideas for my own benefit. As the process went on, both Elissa and Sydney were both wonderful at communicating where we were at in the process, and really helped keep me engaged in the opportunity, even though days may have lapsed during the interview process. Both Elissa and Sydney are upbeat and a real pleasure to talk to, in fact, now that I am in my role I do miss hearing from them! As a final remark, I would say be confident in Scion Staffing, especially Elissa and Sydney. If I am ever in a position to be able to work with them again, I would do so in a heartbeat!
