I told her that my bracelet had been appraised and it's worth well over $500 and she proceeded to tell me that a jewelers appraise pieces for whatever they want! My bracelet was appraised by GIA which certifies 95% of the diamonds that come from jewelry stores all over the country! It was extremely reckless and disrespectful for her to value a customer's piece of jewelry without putting under a microscope and assessing the cut and clarity of the diamonds! As I walked out she also proceeded to tell someone very loudly that she doesn't do anything for free! She has a nice-nasty attitude that lacks tact, professionalism and more importantly integrity! I heard she used to be in a kiosk in the mall and she moved to a storefront. If she isn't careful about treating customers and prospective customers with respect she will find herself back in that same kiosk or out of business! What's worse is that on Thursday afternoon they knew they wouldn't be able to fulfill the order, and FAILED to call and inform me. The employee (owner?) was rude and acted like she was doing me a favor in taking my order, and though mistakes happen, this mistake is pretty inexcusable AND they failed to notify me on Thursday when they knew of their inability to get my banner. Upon entering , we found (I am assuming) the owner sitting at a desk with an employee (son?). They both stared up at me indignantly. I said, "Hi, Sorry. Not sure if I came in the right door. I was wondering if there was someone who could help answer a few questions". "There was no one out there to help you?", replied the owner. "Well he's probably busy. Anyway. What's the question?" So I told him that I was looking for someone to finish a side wall and garage door opening of the 24x48 pole barn. He asked where I lived. When I told him, Cedar Hill, his response was, "Hrm. that's quite FAR". Really??? Sorry..... But even the text in the Yelp description reads. "WE ARE ONLY MINUTES FROM NASHVILLE, BELLEVUE, FRANKLIN, CLARKSVILLE" - Nashville is 58 minutes - Franklin is 1 hour 10 minutes ??!!?? How is it that Cedar Hill, only 48 minutes away, is FAR ??!!?? The two men grumbled a bit more about how far it was and how much work it was to do. So I showed them pictures on my phone. Then, sensing that they were completely disinterested, I asked them.... "If you're unable to do the work, would you be able to you deliver the panels so that I could do the work myself?" (- I'm a 5'6", 55 yr old woman - ). "We could", the owner replied. "There will be a delivery fee". "Ok. How much would the metal sheets be each?", I asked. With a straight face, he responded, "The panels are 3 feet wide and are $310 per foot (in the other direction)". -- Say what?!?! -- I asked again. He told me again. Then I wrote it down. My son & friend who were with me both looked at me as we walked to the car & said, "That's crazy". He was going to charge me $29,000 for JUST the eight, 12 foot panels. That's not even the front side. INSANE! (I know the entire 24x48 structure with metal sides & roof only cost $10k. So $29k to fill a hole in the side was pure BS). People have become so lazy. Basically he was telling us to f* off. Very Christian indeed. PS. ..... Ik ben opgegroeid in Nederland. Deze mensen gedroegen zich niet zoals alle Nederlanders die ik ken.
