I had never been in charge of buying a large number of signs and these signs had to meet government…read morerequirements as they were ADA signs for an entire office complex. ADA signs have to be the correct sign, the right symbol, the right color, the right fonts, the right type of raised braille and even installed in the right place on the wall. I was in over my head on this one. After realizing that every business we'd already signed in this newly built office complex wanted a different style and color of ADA sign set, I was completely lost. Making a mistake wasn't an option as mistakes are expensive. Expensive to replace signs and we do not want ADA fines. I asked one of the interior designers for some guidance and she told me about these guys. She said they would be able to offer guidance and they made top quality signs. I called them up and had a long talk with a man named Don O'Toole, regarding my sign predicament. He wasn't ruffled in the least. Apparently Signs PDQ handles jobs like filling entire hospitals and universities with ADA Signs. Don took notes about all of my requirements. There was even one part of the requirements that was unclear- and this guy offered to call the gov't office that would be inspecting my complex for compliance and ask them "point blank" what they required in this particular instance. Naturally, I said yes, please find out! You can absolutely handle your order online and on the phone, you do not have to go there in person. But I had other business in Cleveland. I decided to go see the Signs PDQ folks in person and really iron this out. I mean we're talking about MY job here and I chose not to take any risks. These guys are great. They were glad to see me, happy to go over my order, they showed me samples, they had perfectly matched the sample swatch colors that the interior designers had given me to send to them. In my mind, this was a giant storm cloud of signs hanging over me. In their shop the signs were all in order and it was clear which sign went to which part of the building. I can't recommend Signs PDQ / ADA Signs Wholesale highly enough. After initially talking to them I did look around to compare prices, and I still went with them. Their prices are very reasonable and the customer service is second to none. After news of this experience (ALL of my first ever sign project coming in under budget, finished on time and fully compliant) went through the grapevine of my entire company, Signs PDQ are quickly becoming our company wide "go to" for all new construction and remodeling projects. I wish there was a zero star option before I get going here...... So, I ordered "3inch" decals for…read moremy waverunner. They sent me a draft at 2pm on Friday (End of day) & are closed on the weekends. This was Memorial Day weekend might I add & after calling for 4days all week they finally did them after I physically walked in the store after not responding to my calls or emails blah blah, that's just another thing we won't get into. I just wanted custom stickers for my boat, not the regular hardline brand ones you can buy at the boat shops. Anyways, the draft said 3in on the right of the picture & since I was working I thought it was ok, but in reality I looked at the wrong side of the draft. The other side said 3.67in which is not 3in, I found this out when I had to double check after David denied making it right for me in the end of all this. Long story short, I bought them, picked them up & went to install them thinking everything was great. They were too big after measuring them which I knew they had to be 3in in the beginning & I told David this multiple times, but surprisingly he said I approved the draft & that was the end of it with no response to "my make it right email" after telling me not his problem. So no refund & or even offered to make it right for me, all he said in response was "you approved the draft" like a little child trying to win a argument. Businesses like this make my stomach turn, you know the ones that do just a good enough job, smile & make you feel like it's all ok, but when they/you make mistakes they don't own up to them. I'd say this was a neutral mistake on both sides being fair/honest about all this, but in the end when dealing with a business that takes money for services they should always make it right "NO MATTER WHAT". Just so you know I ended up buying those stickers from the boat shop I didn't want so I could ride Memorial Day weekend & David knows this based on the emails I sent him, which makes it worse because he cares nothing about his work. The only thing I'm happy about is I only spent $45 to find all this out, because god forbid it was a huge job for a business or something & it was they are in the same situation. So just know if something like this happens to you they might not, probably won't honor said work. This is what "bad business" is & I will never deal with this company ever again. David Fulton you are not a good dude. This review cost me $45 bucks & it cost you many customers in the long run. You knowing all this & not caring about it shows what kind of person let alone business man you truly are. Good luck!
