For 18 years, I've been flying back to my childhood dentist because I hadn't found anyone I could fully trust. After reading the unanimous and strong support for Dr. Aris in local Facebook groups, I decided to give his practice a try--and I can confidently say it was the right decision. Dr. Aris takes his time, and this is not a rushed office. It reminded me of practices during the "golden age" of dentistry, before corporations took over and created a conflict between incentivizing treatment for care vs. production. His focus is on patient-centered, thorough care rather than meeting quotas, which is rare and refreshing. The ambiance of the office is also incredibly pleasant. The rooms are large and open, with bright windows that let in natural light, yet they maintain adequate privacy from other patients. Music in a dentist's office is something I'm very particular about, as the experience can already be anxiety-producing with all the loud noises. I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Aris's choice of soft music and the perfect volume--it created a calm and relaxing atmosphere that put me at ease. Kim at the front desk was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to rework the schedule to fit my needs and limitations. Allison gave me an excellent cleaning--extremely thorough, with zero discomfort or sensitivity. Dr. Aris himself was exceptionally thorough in his examination, taking time to get to know me as a patient and understand my needs. His diagnoses were accurate, and his ability to distinguish between what was present, existing, and what might be needed moving forward gave me full confidence in his care. His approach is conservative and thoughtful, which I deeply appreciate. I was also very pleasantly surprised to learn that, while Dr. Aris runs his office like a fee-for-service practice, he not only submits your insurance but was also in-network with mine (Delta Dental). This combination of a private-practice feel with insurance accommodation makes his office even more accessible. The family practice vibe is enhanced by the fact that his wife greets you at the office, making the whole experience warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Aris and his team. He is officially my new dentist, and I will be scheduling an appointment for my husband next!

Every time I came in - it was something else that they said was wrong - they gave me a filling and messed it up so bad I had to go get a root canal from a specialist. They also told my husband he needed a crown - he went to our new doctor and he did not. The cleanings and visits were uncomfortable and painful. We were looking for a new dentist at that time since our doctor of 10 yrs moved to a different state. Our review was provided just about the office environment and not procedures and professionalism of doctors. Right after an exam, they said I have many cavities in my teeth and the" necessity" for root canal and crown, explaining I am about to get sepsis. They said, they found some cavities in my son's mouth as well. However, not so long before, the other dentists did not find anything like that not in mine nor my son's mouth. My son walked away from this office, but I, unfortunately, believed Dr. Kostrewski, and agreed for a procedure. However, That was my huge and costly mistake ever: I had to pay cash because my insurance was for preventive services only. After procedure, I experienced a consistent pain and was visiting the office many times to find the cause, but every time they were sending me back, saying that all is OK. Since the pain did not stop, I had to see an other dentist, who has found that 2 teeth dr. K has sealed at the procedure, must be redone. My new doctor also made an expert advice regarding the crown on tooth: it requires a regular check-up since it was not 100% well done. It will also lead to the additional expense for me. The other procedures cost me, as said, the additional out of pocket expense. I have asked Dr. Kostrewski for my full medical records, including all before and after procedures x-rays. Only in 1.5 yrs I finally received them with a many lies on the doctor's notes, which can be easily refuted, and not a full complect of X-rays. I was planning to file a lawsuit, however, because of late receipt of records, the attorney could not proceed with filing. I am more than sure, the office did it on purpose! Now, I am thinking to complain at least to a Health department. I do not believe that this Doctor really deserves a 5-star reviews! Moreover, I was charged $500 for the Sedation, which, in fact, costs only a few cents when you get those 3 pills he provides, in pharmacy, and no other doctors charge for sedation, as I found out. Also, the office insists with a credit card information before the procedures and charges you long before the procedure takes a place, with no explanation. My CareCredit was charged when the doctor was leaving for a vacation, but there was no procedure, which was expected only in 2 months. After receipt of flier, as stated above, I trusted that I will go to an experienced, caring doctor: I even provided with 5-star review, right after my first visit to office (since Dr.K asked me so by sending a text). However, it was my mistake! I will not ever recommend this doctor to anyone else. Now I do not believe that the office staff and doctor really care about patients: the effective psychological trick with a "beautifully designed office and welcoming staff" is just for you to believe they do... Do not fall for it!
