For 18 years, I've been flying back to my childhood dentist because I hadn't found anyone I could fully trust. After reading the unanimous and strong support for Dr. Aris in local Facebook groups, I decided to give his practice a try--and I can confidently say it was the right decision. Dr. Aris takes his time, and this is not a rushed office. It reminded me of practices during the "golden age" of dentistry, before corporations took over and created a conflict between incentivizing treatment for care vs. production. His focus is on patient-centered, thorough care rather than meeting quotas, which is rare and refreshing. The ambiance of the office is also incredibly pleasant. The rooms are large and open, with bright windows that let in natural light, yet they maintain adequate privacy from other patients. Music in a dentist's office is something I'm very particular about, as the experience can already be anxiety-producing with all the loud noises. I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Aris's choice of soft music and the perfect volume--it created a calm and relaxing atmosphere that put me at ease. Kim at the front desk was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to rework the schedule to fit my needs and limitations. Allison gave me an excellent cleaning--extremely thorough, with zero discomfort or sensitivity. Dr. Aris himself was exceptionally thorough in his examination, taking time to get to know me as a patient and understand my needs. His diagnoses were accurate, and his ability to distinguish between what was present, existing, and what might be needed moving forward gave me full confidence in his care. His approach is conservative and thoughtful, which I deeply appreciate. I was also very pleasantly surprised to learn that, while Dr. Aris runs his office like a fee-for-service practice, he not only submits your insurance but was also in-network with mine (Delta Dental). This combination of a private-practice feel with insurance accommodation makes his office even more accessible. The family practice vibe is enhanced by the fact that his wife greets you at the office, making the whole experience warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Aris and his team. He is officially my new dentist, and I will be scheduling an appointment for my husband next!

Bad review for Dr. Nocerino…read more I started coming to this office when Dr. Murphy owned the place when I was a child. After he retired, Dr. Nocerino took over and I didn't really have the same pleasant experiences I had previously. The atmosphere was just weird. I also had a minor cavity on the side of my tooth several years ago and had that filled by Dr. Nocerino. I went back to NY and months later it fell off...I went back to CT to have it fixed and it was fine...although...a couple years later I decided to switch to a NY based dentist as I was no longer living with my parents or under their insurance plan. I had an x ray the other week and they said my previous dentist (Dr. Nocerino) had accidentally drilled into my neighboring tooth that was completely fine...and I had to get my filling re-done on the side of my tooth because it wasn't done properly and was coming off. So years later this comes back to me and bites me in the butt and I'm obviously not happy...I had to pay $420 for this mistake...I now go to an all female staff dentist and they're so efficient and have the latest technology. On top of my experience, apparently this office has a lot of patients and my family makes an appointment waaaay in advance and the front desk always says "call morning of your appointment to make sure it's still ok to come in". They call and their appointments are cancelled. How fishy....When people make appointments, honor them....what is this selective favoritism whatever? What is this based on? Really sketchy.

Here's what we love about Harmony Dental: The staff is very friendly and welcoming! There's a designated waiting area for the kids. Pre-COVID it had video games and books. Now it's just a sitting area but still nice that it's a kid friendly space. I never have to wait long for Dr. Limb or the dental hygienist (I can't remember her name but she's great as well). The rooms have tvs mounted on the ceiling and the kids can pick shows to watch while they are getting their dental work done. They also offer laughing gas which has worked so well for my girls who needed quite a bit of work on their teeth. Between the sweet staff, the tvs and the laughing gas, my girls have never cried or had anxiety while they are at the dentist. On the contrary, they love going to the dentist! Dr. Limb and his dental assistant are so friendly and personable. Not only do they engage in conversation with the parents but with the kids too! The kids get tokens after every visit to use at the vending machines in the waiting area for little prizes like bouncy balls, small animal figurines, etc. The office is pretty accommodating to families with multiple kids. Many medical offices will not allow me to bring all 3 of my kids in at the same time for their appointments. Harmony Dental has always been so great about this and has made it where I can come in just once with all 3! And while I always try to find someone to watch my other kids when only one has an appointment, the staff and dentists have been so great and understanding when I have to bring all the kids in with me. The only negative thing I could say about Harmony is that Dr. Limb doesn't see adults as well lol. If he did, I would most certainly have him do all my dental work as well! He's really the best! And if you check out local moms groups on FB you'll find the same! Local moms love Harmony Dental!
