If you've been hunting for a dentist with a small-town vibe in the middle of the Vegas suburbs, Keating Dental is one of those local spots that checks all the boxes. They've been around in the Seven Hills area for a long time, and I'm convinced it's the customer service, chairside manner, and professionalism that keeps Dr. Keating at the top of the list when it comes to dentists. Going to the dentist can be stressful, but Dr. Keating and his team are so kind, friendly, and genuine. You will never meet a nicer group of people. Patients aren't just another file or number, and every time I come in I am treated like family. He's also very competent and wants to make sure your visit is completely pain-free. I have had everything from cavity fillings to cleanings to x-rays to crowns to root canals here, and I have always been comfortable. I trust Dr. Keating with everything that has to do with my teeth, which are pretty dang important to me! The office is lovely, too. It's super clean and bright, and the large glass windows offer sweeping views of the Strip and Vegas valley (which is nice when you're in the chair for a longer procedure). There are television sets in every room as well. During the holidays, the spacious and comfortable waiting area is decorated to the nines. My favorite times to go are during Halloween (the staff has a jack-o-lantern decorating contest and patients can vote on their favorite) and Christmas, when an elaborate gingerbread village takes over the lobby. Fun fact: Dr. Keating himself bakes and assembles the gingerbread (he says it's a family tradition)! If you're searching for the best dentist in town, you'll find him at Keating Dental. The staff is nothing short of incredible, and although I'm not fearful of dental work, they make a real effort to put nervous patients at ease. After every cleaning, you get a fun little goody bag with a new toothbrush, travel sized toothpaste, and dental floss. It's the little things! Note that all of this A+ service comes with a high price tag, so make sure you ask what your costs will be before you agree to any procedures. Bills are routinely high, and you may need to budget. Keating Dental recently stopped accepting my insurance, and I'm sad because I may have to look elsewhere for a dentist and I really don't want to! read more

Dr.Keating is amazing! The team members at Keating Dental go above and beyond to make you feel like family at Keating Dental. My partner and his family have been going to Keating Dental for years! He had recommended that I visit Keating Dental due to a tooth filling issue from a previous dentist that I had gone to. Keating Dental is located in Henderson. It's on the second floor. As soon as you walk in, the team members at the front desk greeted me. New patients will need to complete paperwork, however, the process wasn't too lengthy and it took about 15 minutes to complete. My appointment was on time. Since it was my first visit, I really was in awe at how great my experience was at Keating Dental. They had fixed my filling from a week prior. I admit I'm spoiled! I've always had exceptional dental and medical care, so when I moved from PA to NV 10 years ago I asked my dentist if he could refer me to someone of his caliber. He couldn't but made a suggestion: call the offices office's o several endodontists and ask them for several referrals. His logic was that THEY SEE ALL the "work" done by local dentists. That's how my husband and I were fortunate enough to be referred to Keating Dental. This past weekend my husband had an old dental injury flare up and at first he thought it would just go away but it got worse. We were able to call Dr Keating on a Saturday and he prescribed an antibiotic and set an early Monday morning appointment to resolve the issue. He is so responsive and compassionate AND skilled; qualities not always available in healthcare these days. Doctor might be nice but billing practice is totally unscrupulous - do not come here. My mother was a patient here and they basically made her do an annual dental cleaning that she had already done, telling her that she had enough insurance coverage for it. They also grossly underestimated her dental bill in order to have her agree to the procedures by telling her it would all be covered, and are now demanding an additional $300 out of pocket from my mom to cover the expenses that my mother did not need to get done and would have been covered had she just waited until the following year. I know what the legal situation is and that my mother is technically on the hook for the expenses because she agreed to have them done, but none of these were urgent procedures and it's deceptive to give a much lower estimate and then go back and say, "sorry, guess we got it wrong but you agreed to have the procedures done anyway." I know there's wiggle room in the estimates, but it's absolutely crazy that her original bill of $100+ has ballooned to over $400. if you don't have a solid understanding of the insurance system, beware as they seem to prey on the elderly if they don't have a full understanding of the insurance system. I called in to discuss the potential for lowering payments as it is unreasonable to demand that a 60+ year old lady with no income pay an additional $300+ on services that were quoted as around $150 out of pocket, and when I discussed her financial hardship and the situation, the clinic basically said, tough luck, we won't serve her until she pays up, with zero willingness to negotiate so I guess they also enjoy tanking the elderly's credit, because my mother is unable to pay this bill. read more

Dr Keating is the best. We absolutely love our dentist and his staff. Everyone there is very nice and helpful. Upon first arriving you are greeted with a friendly smile by the lady behind the desk. You sign in and have a seat in one of the comfortable chaos along the wall. If you have your kid with you, they can play with the play set they have while you wait. They have tv in each room that you can watch as the clean your teeth. It's nice because it makes the time fly by. Today, Tamera put on cartoons for my son to watch while she cleaned my teeth. It was so nice not having to worry about him getting into trouble. Last month my wife had to make an appointment because she was having issues with one of her teeth. My son broke his front top two teeth. Of course this happens at 4:47pm. I called their office and they were amazing and told me to come in right away. I get there close to 5 and they welcome us... yes I said WELCOME US at closing time. Dr. Keating took his time to do it just right and made it look good as new! I can't say enough about Dr. Tom. It's ALWAYS a pleasure to see him. He really takes the time to get to know his patients & I really appreciate that...especially since seeing any dentist is not on my list of priorities nor is it a walk in the park. For 10 years he's been my trusted dentist and to say I trust him & his opinions concerning my individual needs is an understatement. In 2006 when I first met him, we've been on this journey to fix my mouth due to damage caused by braces in the early 90s I didn't think was possible. Every filling I had (from childhood) was cracked & in desperate need of repair. We tried our hardest to avoid a root canal but was unable to save a tooth literally killed by braces. And here I am again, about to undergo additional repairs to my teeth - damage caused by BRACES. We spent a significant amount of time discussing what's happening & my various options. Did he present the best, most expensive option to me? Absolutely. He also presented me with the least expensive option & said for now, it's my best option. BUT...I eventually will need to move forward with the other, realizing due to inflation & that my issue will only get worse over time, the cost will increase. Not happy about it, and we're only delaying the inevitable, but $7500 is a lot to come up (after insurance) to properly fix my issue. He truly has his patients' best interests at heart & he's proven this time & again with me, my husband, & the 4 referrals I've sent his way. He's a great dentist & great person. I have been going to Keating Dental since 2005 and I love it! Front desk staff os really nice and pleasant. They will call and verify what your benefit provider will cover prior to a procedure and they will explain the breakdowns. My hygienist Tamera is so sweet. I love talking to her (before my cleaning starts. Lol) She gets my pearly whites all spick and span with hardly and sensitivity (ie pain.) Dr. Keating is really nice as well he explains everything that is going on in an understandable way. He had successfully removed all my ugly silver fillings and replaced them with white ones... Yippy! (They color match is exceptional, too!) I was never afraid of the dentist but I actually look forward to my bi-annual appointments here! Really get dentist office and i would recommend them to anybody even people who hate the dentist! (Because I think this staff would be able change their mind about the dentist!) read more

TODAY IS THE FIRST TIME I CAN SMILE WITH CONFIDENCE IN A REALLY LONG TIME! I have been going to Keating Dental for only a short while (maybe a couple years) but I can truly say that Dr. Keating is excellent. I have a 20+ year history with my teeth and he's the first Dr. that reviewed my portfolio and made me feel confident and comfortable in his hands. He provided me with an overview and solutions for both the short term and long term. I went in yesterday to fix 3 fillings in 3 separate places in my mouth and it went great. Besides the fact that I walked out not being able to feel my face from the numbing, it was a pleasant experience. Dr. Keating is very conscious of your budget and your time which I truly appreciate. Today, I can smile with confidence! No more discoloration or chips. Keating Dental is one of the best Dental offices that I have ever been to. The location is far, but in a very nice area. The office is very clean, and all of the staff is very professional, friendly, and courteous. Each room is very comfortable, with a view of the strip and a TV so you can never get bored. Dr. Tom and Dr. Keating are both great. Family practice, great, gentle, extremely competent dentists. Up on the latest. Great hygienist too. Would give them 5 stars except for the witchy woman at the checkout desk. She was trying to rip me a new one for $11 (not owed, she was wrong) and my friend for $12 (not owed according to the insurance). Cancelled our appointments, made nasty call. Doctors very surprised when they heard of her behavior. If they rein her in or fire her, the place will be perfect.
