We had Don and his crew replace the beat-up brick in our driveway and expand the size of the driveway after we bought our house in September 2025 and put in a sidewalk. We wrote a glowing review, please see William T, October 2025. After renovating the interior of the house, we wanted to get all of the rock, sheeting and piled on mulch out of our courtyard and replace it with brick to finish up the updating of the house. We knew who to call--- KDK Concrete (Don Kluth and his team.) He gave us a thorough explanation of what needed to be accomplished, quoted a good price, and gave quality service. I felt so sorry for his team as there was a lot of heavy rock...etc. to remove and it was HOT! But they were troopers and got it done quickly! The team did a great job. Very friendly and professional group. Ignore the negative reviews! I am here to say you will not regret hiring Don and his team to do your job! read more

Poor...poor customer service. COVID19 will be your lame excuse no doubt. I called an left word on their voice mail about a job we need completed. We got absolutely no response. This is clearly a poor way to represent a business. We wouldn't do business now even if it was free. I see why your ratings are a 2 or less stars. Give it up! read more

Total criminal, DO NOT hire this guy. We did, gave him a deposit for a $20,000 job. He never completed the permitting process, never started the job, and has given us a run a run for a month. He now refuses to refund our deposit so we are having to sue him. Just stay away!!!! read more

We hired Don Kluth to install a circular driveway for our home. The driveway was poured on May 13. We ended up with a lien against our home as he did not pay for the concrete. After weeks of calling him, he finally paid for the concrete and now the lien has been released. The City of Palm Coast informed us that he was operating as an unlicensed contractor. This guy has made promise after promise about getting the final inspection and getting things completely finished. The BBB has lowered his rating to F due to our complaint and the complaint of one other person. See this link http://www.bbb.org/central-florida/business-reviews/concrete-contractors/kdk-concrete-in-ormond-beach-fl-153702873 Very disappointing! read more

We hired Don Kluth of KDK Concrete to replace our stone driveway with a concrete one in October 2012. It took him 7 weeks to complete a job that should have only taken 3-4 days, he required the 1/3 down payment be paid directly to him instead of the business, he threatened to walk off the job and put a lien on our house, underestimated the job by 9 yards of concrete, double billed us, admitted his billing was wrong but never changed it and refuses to discuss it with us, and took over a month to pay a fine with the city that he incurred by requesting the final inspection too soon. He has an alert against him with the better business bureau and when I sent him a link to show him that the city has a red flag on his license he threatened to sue me for defamation! If I had known then what I know now about this person I would never have hired him and I will NEVER recommend him to anyone!!!! read more

We found Don on the internet and after getting some advice and bids from several other contractors we decided that Don was the most knowledgable and the one we could trust to do the job right and the way we wanted! Turns out our intuition was right and things could not have gone more smoothly. He communicated technical issues effectively and made us feel very comfortable throughout the process. read more

Does not come when he is supposed to, puts the blame on everyone else, and has not completed the job. Save yourself the headache--definitely not worth your time and certainly not your money! read more
