The price difference between the two would have been made up in less than a year if we opted for the wood. So, we went with aluminum which is essentially maintenance free and doesn't block off any view. Andy got to work right away and finished in no time. His attention to detail is impeccable! We're happy with the fence and definitely happy Andy did the job. We'll keep his number for future outdoor work.

He and his brother installed the fans, though they left debris on the floor and dirty prints all over the ceiling, as well as a gap in the ceiling hole in both jobs. Don Johnson (864-553-5917) told the old wiring was unsafe and a fire hazard. As far as the new wiring, no new wiring was installed. I was not able to go into the attic to check his work, but two licensed electricians later told me: 1) no new wiring had been installed and 2) the old wiring was perfectly fine. I called Don Johnson and asked for a refund of $500. I did not get a return call but his wife ranted and raved with miles of inarticulate texts how she was going to take me to court (?) This operation is dishonest and the work they do is substandard. In addition, Don Johnson told me that ALL the wiring in my attic was unsafe and I'd best get it all updated for a cost of $3000. Also the BBB of Greenville and Traveler's Rest told me this was a shady operation and they were likely scammers. Hopefully you won't be as foolish as I was and get taken in by these scammers.
