Due to the natural beauty of the barns interior, we didn't have to do a lot of decorating. We couldn't have been happier choosing this location for a new chapter in our lives. They also allow your own vendors for your event which is now to have that flexibility. There are few requirements that differ from other venues as this place is a registered historical site, but they are nothing major or very costly that makes or breaks your event. As a heads up, this place is rented out hourly so it's challenging to decorate for a wedding the same day of the event, but it can be done! We highly recommend this place!

The facility offers meeting and wedding space for up to 200ppl and can be booked through the City of Lenexa which keeps the cost affordable.We booked the wedding on a Friday evening which saved even more costs. Saturday weddings book a year out so you'll need to contact them early or camp out to book a spot with the City. Many images can be googled online to show you the facility's offerings. We didn't need to do much for decor as the facility is so clean and classy with brick walls, exposed beam ceiling in the main hall, a full kitchen, meeting rooms for the wedding party to get ready etc. An outdoor courtyard can be used for the ceremony also although it's along I-35 for traffic noise. We did experience problems with the set up, AV equipment and evening staffing but these issues were addressed satisfactorily when we brought them up to management. We'd definitely recommend this air conditioned barn to any bride and groom.

Loved it, and I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more things. The staff is always friendly and seems like they have a lot of fun while they're working!

Their apple picking experience is quite fun and family friendly too. It can get really busy at peak weekend times in the Fall so go early or late (not sure if they ever run out, so I'd pick early). And this year, they added an outdoor tent so you don't have to freeze but can still be outside. They have a few TVs for sports ball watching. Service is always fanatic. Despite being busy, they're always clean. They do offer food-tacos, pizzas, kids menu. I've not tried any but I always see people ordering so it must be pretty good. It's a brewery so obviously they have beer, but they also have nonalcoholic beverages and wine. I stick to the beer. My favorites are alway the stouts. They remind me of simpler old school stouts that aren't sweet and heavy. They have live music and other events so make sure to follow their social media and definitely check them out!
