We recently used MK Property Solutions to complete our renovation of two bathrooms and they rebuilt…read moresome walls. We had two previous contractors that did not work out, and the second contractor took our money. Needing to find someone we could trust to finish our project, we contacted several more contractors. MK Property Solutions was right in the middle price-wise and they are worth their fees. They did not overcharge at all and were transparent about costs and materials. No padding of material costs. They are licensed, bonded and insured. Dave Gregory, the owner, met with us and after hearing about our contractor misfortunes, he personally managed our renovation. They do everything (small and large jobs) and they are knowledgeable. Dave took the time to explain everything in terms we could understand and was never condescending. He genuinely wanted us to know what they were doing and why. He also taught us the difference between bad workmanship and good workmanship. They had to completely gut the previous work that was done on the main bathroom and start again. They renovated the master bathroom with an open shower, added a pocket door, and reconfigured the area to provide more space. Their work is beautiful. They also rebuilt walls that were torn out in the living room and in a bedroom, patched and finished drywall work throughout the house, replaced missing crown molding, repaired a hole in our garage roof and replaced damaged gutters on the garage. Because we had less budget to work with, Dave carefully watched our costs so that we could stay within the budget we had. He meticulously inspected the work of his skilled workmen. All the people working on our house were professional, showed the utmost respect for us and our home, were on time, on budget, and communicated very well. They are an honest company, which, unfortunately, is rare in the industry now. They left the area clean and disposed of all their trash, and even cleaned up the trash of the previous contractor, which was above and beyond in my opinion. MK Property Solutions saved our project and did their best to help us in any way they could. We are grateful to have worked with them and would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to everyone we know.

It often seems that communication and getting a response is one of the toughest hurdles to cross with completing home projects. Luckily, they were on it with the RAQ feature on Yelp. The project: rebuilding a 75' privacy fence along the one side of our property to match the other two sides. We were happy with the quote and timeline and moved forward on the project. The one thing that I think would have kicked this experience up a notch would be proactive communication updates on the project each day - even if it were a simple text of where things stand. Based on original conversations, it appeared that knocking out the project in two days would be possible (we and our neighbors both have big dogs to keep separated).unfortunately, the project ended up being more of a five day endeavor due to an error by the builders (the Pretty side of the fence was built facing the wrong direction but they quickly corrected it after we addressed it). Overall, the end result was a beautiful fence despite a few bumps along the road.

We received delivery of seven skids right away, along with the other material we needed. It had rained the morning of delivery, however, that didn't stop the delivery driver from proceeding right up through the side yard, partially into our neighbors yard too, and tearing it completely up (approx. 12-14" ruts). Our neighbor called us first to let us know what had happened, then we received a call from Tom Curley. Tom said Curley Bros. would send in a professional landscaper to fix the damage once things dried-up, and he was contemplating on firing the delivery personel as well. About a week later they did show-up and rototilled, layed minimal top-soil, and grass seed. They also cut the internet cable going into our house we would later discover. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to know. We were very pleased with Ryan Curley, who spread the top soil. We met him in the yard and he siad after the new top soild settled, and we removed the pallets from the yard, he would come back to repair the ruts underneath the pallets. Once the yard settled and we got the pallets moved, we called Ryan to come back to spread more top soil to fill the ruts. Ryan said he would be out that day. Tom Curley called us immiedately after hanging-up with Ryan to tell us the pallet damage to the yard was part of construction and our responsibility. We explained it was not the damage from the pallets we were concerned about, but the ruts underneath the pallets caused by the moffett. We compromised and agreed that if Ryan brought the top soil, we would provide the grass seed. That was almost two weeks ago. They never showed. We have since hauled-in the top soil to repair the damage ourselves. What started out to be a pleasant experience ended with very poor professionalism and customer service. We were not asking for anything unfair. We just wanted what Tom Curley had told he was going to do and we simply wanted our yard put back the way it was.
