I was looking for a place for a corned beef sandwich on a Sunday and this one looked like the most reasonable. I had a corned beef sandwich, a knish, and a bottled soda and it cost me almost $30. The corned beef sandwich cost like 16 and I think it was literally just a bit of corned beef between two slices of toasted rye bread. It was so unremarkable, I barely even remember it. I would've been much better off going to the Harvest Fare supermarket and getting whatever is comparable. Their sandwiches are quite good, packed with ingredients, and large, and only like 5 minutes away from this place. It took no fewer than 15 minutes to come out and the girl at the register had a bit of attitude. Hmm. The restaurant is OK. Spacious and decent lighting and I think the owner or manager or whoever it was looked like a kindly and warm person. The business does not seem to advertise itself too aggressively. It's located in a nondescript business that barely looked like it's open and has minimal signage. The knish was good though. Warm and nice and soft. I still remember that one. I can't recommend based on the price and the lack of any sort of innovation, taste, or quality that would justify said price. However, I think that's probably a plus for the restaurant and its patrons. It feels like it's meant to keep certain people out and serve as a place for certain people to congregate. read more

Love this nice gem we stumbled across. We came here for some Kosher Sushi and Shawarma, you name it. I also love Hebrew drinks and all, so i also purchased some to take back home too. So I made a review earlier this month. The food was good. I did takeout and everything was fine. The manager said next time to order delivery since it was for my coworker. KB grill is approximately 5 miles from my work. Today I ordered 2 items, a Chinese lunch special and fries $14 for lunch delivery at 1230. The food arrived 45 minutes late (my Jewish co-worker had already left to go home.) The receipt said $45!!!!. I call and ask why and the manager said they assessed a $30 delivery fee. I couldn't even believe what I heard. They never offered to rectify the situation and were unapologetic about being so late. This will be the last time I do business with them. I seriously cannot believe that they never called to tell me it would be such a high delivery fee and I cannot believe they would not attempt to remedy the issue. I will never dine there again. I paid $11.00 for an inedible corn beef sandwich with frozen tomatoes and frozen lettuce, and $2 for a diet dr pepper. I informed them that I was dining in and they gave me my sandwich is a carry out bag. The meat was slimy, greasy, and inedible. They cater to Orthodox Jews but want Shiskas such as myself to avoid their establishment. I am Jewish, my husband is Jewish, and my son is Jewish, yet Reform. I believe that kosher diners are limited in options, so they serve severely inferior food. They are very welcoming to obviously Orthodox Jews and appeared to offer them exceptional smelling food that was not on the menu for Shiskas. read more

Honestly, these people treated my friend like dirt after he went out of his way (not for the first time) to order Kosher food for a co-worker so we could all celebrate together. Even though the meal cost only $13, they charged him an extra 30 DOLLARS for delivery without even a warning that it was going to FAR exceed what he was paying for food. Additionally, the food was exceptionally late, even though it was ordered hours in advance. On top of that, when it did arrive, the food was awful. Very impressed with the food and atmosphere here; they have really transformed over the years from a divey fast food joint (Kosher Bite days) to a respectable, quick-service establishment. The dining room has been expanded and has a decent amount of seating. It felt bright and open as well. This is a very unique place, with kosher fast food and a liquor store under the same roof. The advantage is that they have all sorts of kosher drinks and beers to go with your meal. I tried the BBQ beef sandwich with fried onions, which was ok and not too greasy, and french fried onion rings, which were crispy and not frozen, thankfully.
