While sitting at the traffic light I saw this location and thought hey, I just saved some time and tolls while I parked. This location is fairly large in comparison to other shops I have visited. I was greeted almost immediately and was able to have a few questions about upcoming products quickly. Making my way to the back of the store was a very good selection of discounted pre-packaged bags that I somehow made room for in my carry on bag! I have become a big Lindt fan... consistently very good quality and an exceptional variety!

We were greeted warmly, handed an over-stuffed tasting panel swag bag then my eyes settled on the veritable ocean of chocolatey goodness, all the Lindor truffles of varying flavors and multi-colored wrappers laid out in a sea of color. I wanted to swim in it. I didn't want to leave for two reasons: The delicious aroma of chocolate and the store being cooled to perfection to protect their decadent goods. The staff are friendly, kind, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the flowers offered are incredible, thoughtfully sourced, and difficult to find elsewhere. You can order professional arrangements or make your own bouquet out of the flowers sold by the stem. I've been doing the latter, and it's a regular source of joy and creativity for me, and it's absolutely helped with the winter doldrums that often come with being a New Englander. If you need a hostess gift for a party or holiday, there are plenty of options at Cymbidium, ranging from artful seasonal bulb terrariums to tea, macarons, and homemade candles. They also always have lots of user-friendly houseplants to choose from. I've had really good luck with the plants I've bought, including some gorgeous orchids. It may sound corny, but I like knowing that I'm supporting a small business owned and operated by wonderful people, as small brick & mortars that help give a town character are becoming fewer and farther between. I'd rather spend a little bit more for something truly unique and lovely than grab a quick, nondescript bunch of flowers at a grocery store chain.
