Great Buffet served right on table with the tablet menu , ordered miso soup sushi sashimi nigiri and more . Everything was good !

    Baked mussel, pretty good

Came here recently for AYCE dinner on a Friday night and was presently surprised. Quality of food and sushi were of good quality and well prepared. The short rib and beef teriyaki were nice and tender. Lots and lots of sushi rolls to choose from, and some torched sushi as well. Ordering on iPad requires server to come and confirm on the system, and we found that at busy time, you might need to flag down a server for that. Overall had a good experience here, definitely a contender for future AYCE sushi in the Woodbridge area.

Sashimi! The presentation was super cute.

Best selection for AYCE dinner I've seen so far in Vaughan. I appreciated the various types of sashimi and the presentation was great! The hamachi was the best out of them all and the most unique. The salmon, squid and tako were good... the white tuna and regular tuna were okay. For the appetizers, they had a decent amount. The calamari was probably my favourite... it had a grilled char that gave it a smokey flavour. The torched nigiri was a nice touch and really delicious. Lastly, you've got to try the deep fried custard buns.. so good!

Ive been here 3 times so I believe I have a pretty good well rounded experiences where I can provide feedback. The place is in a busy plaza and has been around for for awhile so its nothing new. It was always one of these AYCE places where I said id try "one day". Feedback: -Clean, nice ambience -Open space, not overcrowded or seated too close to neighbouring seats so you can have some privacy. -Fast, Fresh, consistent food -Accurate order fulfillment, theyve never forgotten a dish -Presentation is very nice (does feel like AYCE), attention to detail -Good for dates, family, groups, celebrations -Never had issues getting seating -Big space with a variety of seating -The waitress barely talk to you which is a pro and con depending on the person but they are fast and efficient -Good variety of options for every category including dessert -Tons of seating Downside: -Waiter has to confirm every order -Sometimes it takes time to get seated, the waitresses are also the host I personally recommend this place!

The food here is always great. The service though... isn't ideal. I know we went with a lot of people. 5 adults and 4 kids. But we did not have a designated waiter so it was difficult to follow up on simple things like drink orders. We ordered the same Shirley temple 3 times before it arrived and a ginger ale twice. At the end, we asked for the bill to be split 3 ways; 2 adults and 4 kids, 2 adults, and 1 adult. The waiter couldn't remember how we wanted to split the order so he brought back what he wanted instead of coming back to confirm and write it down. So because he still couldn't understand, I wrote down how to split the orders including the drinks. I've never in my life experienced having to write down how to split the bill down. Then I was turned off by the tip options on the machine. 20%, 18%, and 15%. I tipped 10% in the end as I felt that was fair for the poor service

    Sushi and sashimi. Yummy

Many have told me they love this place so I decided to venture away from our usual AYCE sushi place to check it out. The place was not too busy and we got a table right away which was nice. It began to fill up while we ate but didn't have high turnover. Not an issue. Service: The service is very good. I can't complain. They don't come and ask if you need anything but did refill without asking. Food came out at a good speed. Decor: The place is nice. I liked watching them always cleaning. The floors. The tables. Etc. They have a lady that seems to do nothing but clean it seems. Tableware: First time I am including this in a review. Because it needs to be mentioned. The chopsticks are terrible. Ultra smooth plastic. I am a veteran chopstick user and I struggled a lot with these things. No texture at all. I was going to ask for the cheap wooden ones as they are way easier to use. They do include a fork in every plating, rightfully so as these things are too frustrating. The plates are nice but plastic. All else is normal restaurant grade Food: The food is just okay. The Fire and Ice roll was amazing. We tried the dumplings, and they were okay at best. The sushi was middle grade. I liked the fish to rice ratio which is very redeeming for the lower quality fish. The roll portions are half that of other AYCE places. The iPad says 6 prices but some came out at 4. The sashimi slices were small as well. Half of that on of the sushi. The chicken teriyaki was very good. Delish. Salmon teriyaki was tough but good as well. The Wonton soup was not that great. The broth was decent but the filling in the noodles was so so. Overall the place is nice and the food is okay. Definitely a decent mid-grade AYCE establishment. A bit pricy to be honest. At $30 for an adult dinner on a Sunday night, I found it disproportionate to the quality but I will say I am satisfied and feel content. I do appreciate the fact that I don't feel greasy or bloated. I do feel good after all we ate. That does say a lot. Will try again at a lower priced window to have some different menu items.

Used to come here regularly about a year ago, was quite good back then but it seems like it went downhill from there. We came on a Tuesday night instead of the usual weekend. So that maybe it? Service was slow to seat us seemed like they were short on workers. The food however came out fast and nothing really stood out to us. The rice they used for the sushi wasn't fresh it was to the point it wasn't room temp / getting cold quite disappointing. The sashimi of salmon/tuna wasn't too bad but I found it wasn't as fresh had a fishy taste. We ordered the beef tataki and salmon tataki it was disgusting to say the least it was warm and chewy.. no flavor at all. All in all won't be going back here as theres much better places.

    Nick L.

It was a last minute decision for decision and we decided to pick the closest AYCE. We had about an hour before they closed and we were practically the last customers there. There's is an extreme list of food that you can order off of the ipad with desserts. The sushi was great, sashimi was fresh and the fried food was on point and flavoured. Very cozy and well designed. Nothing to complain considering we were the only ones there!

It's a perfect place for a large gathering especially if you have people coming west, east, south and maybe even out of town as there is plenty of parking. The place is spacious, modern and uncrowded so you can easily set up a spot for a balloon arch. The service is also really nice and friendly. I've been to the Colossus area many times before but never thought to stop by at this restaurant. I didn't even know they have an option for all you can eat until I visited recently. For All-You-Can-Eat weekend lunch it was about $30~ according to their site, which is really reasonable considering prices these days. It included sushi and sashimi and it was pretty fresh and some kitchen items too. Their cooked dishes for AYCE is kinda big so I didn't get to try as many things. However, from the few I've tried including nibbling their sample appetizers, tempura and other items it's pretty good. If you want to be adventurous, they even have escargot too! The escargot was buttery and not too salty. The Pad Thai is a more Canadian/Americanized version with a bit of tang from the ketchup but still tasty regardless. The staff was nice and friendly and we didn't really feel rushed out as it didn't seem too busy. We booked from 1-3:30pm/4pm. I think it's a great spot to host your special gathering and also allow your guests to choose whatever they want to eat. The only thing is they punch all your orders for you on the ipad and we don't get to punch it in ourselves. I feel like the physical menu they showed us for all you can eat is much more limited than what we can actually order. So definitely ask your server and see what else there is. For example there wasn't any dessert menu so you have to ask about all the desserts. They will offer ice cream by default but definitely recommend getting a fried banana and sesame ball with it.

When we first walked in, i noticed the place had a cool asian inspired look with plently of seating. The Sushi part of the ayce menu was very dissappointing. The rice was over cooked and mushy. So bad that I had to take the fish off the rice to eat. Unfortunately it was the worst much the worst sushi I had in a while. Very dissapointing. The non-Japanese food we had was actaully pretty good. We ordered, wings, short beef rib, tempura, coconut shrimp, beef pad thai. My favourite was the thick curry tiger shrimp and the curry pumpkin soup (they kinda tasted the same), but both very tasty. I will say the service was very good. Servers were friendly and attentive. Although, they still did they old school took orders by hand, rather than with iPads like other restaurants, which didn't seem efficient.

I wasn't expecting the gold leaf OR edible flower garnish at all. It was a very cute touch on this very snowy day. The oshi sort of fell apart everytime I picked it up which was a shame because it was nicely charred and sweet from the mango. Bit of a personal peeve but I don't think sushi should fall apart when you pick it up with a chopstick. I think it should stay in tact. They were ok, not very greasy and had the usual veg, but the batter was not like typical tempura batter I though and lacked the airiness and crunch. Next came the 10pc assorted sushi/sashimi. Fish was decent. But the portion size for 2 people was kinda small. 3pc Sushi, 3pc Sashimi and 3 California rolls, in total was not enough for 2 people. Then came the teriyaki beef. The meat was slightly over cooked was and there could have been more of the glaze. Next was grilled Mackerel. It was cooked well I thought. My friend didn't have any because she thought it smelt too fishy. To finish we had the standard ice cream. I chose the red bean and my friend had the green tea. Cost was $60.00 and thought it was overpriced for the amount of food for 2 people. There wasn't enough in the sushi course. Our server was attentive and friendly though, coming to refill our tea frequently. There was nothing too wrong with this place but I wasn't overly impressed either. Tip: You can choose rice or noodles as your base for your teriyaki…read more I have a soft spot for any place that does teriyaki. CF Markville Mall had a mom-and-pop teriyaki place that my parents and I used to frequent well over a decade ago. This business shuttered for good when the old food court got torn down and the fancier one that we know today was built. It was sad to see this business go. We loved their food. The morsels of teriyaki chicken were generous and yummy. For fast food teriyaki, I resorted to Teriyaki Experience after my go-to food court eatery had closed. Markham had two of these franchises. I frequented the Woodbine Avenue location more than the Warden Avenue one, with both on the north side of Highway 7. Markham doesn't have any Teriyaki Experience locations anymore. Bummer. Yesterday, I was at Cineplex Vaughan taking in a movie. Afterwards, I was in need of dinner. I did a search and found this Teriyaki Experience across the street, on the southwest side of Highway 7 and Vaughan. It's at Woodbridge Square, in which Nations Fresh Foods anchors. I had no problem finding this eatery. It's in a corner near Osmow's Shawarma. There was a ton of parking when I got here after 6 pm. I backed into a spot and walked over. There were three Chinese woman working behind the counter. The one that I interacted with was nice and efficient. They all spoke Cantonese to one another. I looked at the menu. I felt like noodles as my base and went with thicker udon noodles. I could have ordered thinner yakisoba noodles if I wanted to. You can also do rice as your base. You have the option of getting steamed white or brown rice. I went with my usual, which is teriyaki chicken. This place also has beef, shrimp, and tofu as your protein choices. I made my teriyaki chicken on noodles a combo. I chose a can of Diet Pepsi as my drink. Another woman went ahead and deep-fried my three spring rolls. I paid with a credit card. I tapped. Done! I was the only customer at this eatery. I found a table facing the TV and draped my jacket over a chair. I then waited patiently for my food. I had already got my Diet Coke from the woman. I got a blue tray and placed my drink on it. I enjoyed watching my food being made and assembled. It didn't take long. I asked for extra teriyaki sauce. I held off on hot sauce. I said yes to sesame seed. The woman handed me my spring rolls, along with napkins, a fork, and plum sauce. I thanked her and headed to my table to eat. The spring rolls were hot out of the fryer. I enjoyed having them with the plum sauce. The spring rolls were veggie and had a decent amount of filling. They were crunchy and yummy. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken teriyaki on noodles. I loved the veggies. I got thinly sliced carrots, bean sprouts, cabbage, and more. I got a generous amount of chicken. The morsels were yummy. I loved the teriyaki sauce. It had a hint of ginger that didn't overpower everything. The noodles were excellent. I got a decent portion. They were delicious. My Diet Pepsi washed everything down. It was cold and hit the spot. I used the washroom before I left. There's a single stall each for women and men. The women's washroom was spacious and clean. It is wheelchair-accessible. I thanked the woman who took my order and cooked my food. She wished me a good day. I reciprocated. This eatery is exceptionally clean. Even the garbage and recycling area was spotless. It's nice that I found a new Teriyaki Experience location to frequent. I'll be back for more good eats! (197)
