I should have picked it up the last time I had gone there. I called on the 24th of December 2024 to tell them I am picking up my bracelet. They had it long enough. I went on December 26th and he could not find it. The bracelet was scattered all over the place, he could not find all of my bracelet. He meaning the son. Its like they didn't care. He thought I would not have kept the reciept. I was very disappointed and upset because they treated it like nothing. I will never take anything to them again. I give them a poor rating of1. If I could give them a zero I would. All I needed was a clasp on it. Now it's all to pieces. Its like he dileberly did it thinking I had lost my receipt, All most three year. I am upset with myself also. I should have gotten it. I put my trust in them. It pays not to trust anyone anymore. I left the store so he could find all of the pieces. I am going back tomorrow to get all of the pieces of my bracelet.

On that day they had used bold cutters to cut the ring completely devaluing it. They had told me that the reason was to determine if it was not layered or plated which I understand, but found quite odd. After the three guys had a talk between them in their own language (I couldn't care less what language they spoke) they told me that the gold was 10k. I nodded and they gave me a price, but one of them seemed excited to go with the trade which threw me off and I denied the trade for cash. Their expression completely disappeared as they wanted me to go ahead and go with the trade and to just "send them a picture of my id" I would have found it pointless if the whole idea is to have my id while in the store and I left. As of today 5/11/26, I went to 5 different gold stores to get it tested and they told me that the gold had actually tested for 14k gold! For gold markets I kind of expected 1 was going to try and scam me at some point, but never would have thought MO Jewelers would. Their initial plan was to buy my gold for the price of what 10k is going for without knowing it was 14k. Completely and utterly ridiculous how they tried to scam and will not be going to this place ever again!

On Thursday I received text that my rings were ready to pick up. I called and told Pat's daughter that I was supposed to get estimate first. She said she was sorry but the work was already done. The charges were about $75.00 over what I considered my mental financial comfort level. But because the work was already done, I lost my ability to get an estimate somewhere else. I have never had jewelry repaired where you didn't sign accepting the amount to be charged. I am happy with the looks of one ring, but the other looks "off" to my inexpert eye. There was no offer of a discount and sometimes "Sorry" is just not enough. I'm not happy with my experience with this jeweler and won't be back.
