I ended up arriving 30 minutes prior to closing and hopeful that they wouldn't be too irritated ( being a former retail employee for 11 years of my life, I hated to be a last minute customer.) The location was very hard to find. It's located in the same building as the goodwill off of South Bowman road but the sign is hardly visible from the main street. What I do like about his store is the added security of the building. You have to dial into a phone located outside and state your purpose before entering. The owner (I believe his name is Phillip) recognize me from our call earlier and was more than welcoming and eager to help. He took his time to explain to me why the chain had broken and even fixed it right on the spot. I was expecting a one week wait as well as a $40 charge, but he was gracious enough to do this for free. I definetly recommend this jewelry store for any repairs or new purchases.

The lady proceeds to get really passive aggressive saying well free, is definitely less than 0 and her time is all will be invested then I ask her if she offering to fix it for free, and I certainly didn't expect that and I appreciate it I smile and say of course and she turns her back to me snarkily and goes back to fix it, and I say I'll be glad to pay you, I'm totally embarrassed now others customers have heard all this, she doesn't respond, just storms off She had made me feel so ashamed as if I've done something wrong, totally embarrassed me in front of other customers. WTH now he's insulting me pointing out the apparently when I walked in the necklace clasp had rotated to the front So I paid for my overpriced sturdy silver necklace, the $5 Silver jumpring that was soldered onto my beautiful white gold Diamond charm, and mossied on my way. The insults and degradation they could have saved. They might want to charge reasonable prices for repair work, instead of shaming and guilting people for their "free" Services. And keep their personal insults about peoples imperfections to a limit. I mean was a necklace clasp showing in the front really worth bringing up? Where do these people get their customer service skills? I imagine if you come in there ready to spend big bucks I wager they are all compliments and respect. On that day they had used bold cutters to cut the ring completely devaluing it. They had told me that the reason was to determine if it was not layered or plated which I understand, but found quite odd. After the three guys had a talk between them in their own language (I couldn't care less what language they spoke) they told me that the gold was 10k. I nodded and they gave me a price, but one of them seemed excited to go with the trade which threw me off and I denied the trade for cash. Their expression completely disappeared as they wanted me to go ahead and go with the trade and to just "send them a picture of my id" I would have found it pointless if the whole idea is to have my id while in the store and I left. As of today 5/11/26, I went to 5 different gold stores to get it tested and they told me that the gold had actually tested for 14k gold! For gold markets I kind of expected 1 was going to try and scam me at some point, but never would have thought MO Jewelers would. Their initial plan was to buy my gold for the price of what 10k is going for without knowing it was 14k. Completely and utterly ridiculous how they tried to scam and will not be going to this place ever again!
