Continuing on, the employee greets you upon walking in (I wish I caught her name) asks you if it's your first time in and explains how everything goes, it's a very simple ordering process with a card that you fill out with everything you desire. What is basically a 2 drink combo, you can split between a tea or a shake. I opted for the special, which was a raspberry lemonade. I added cranberry and pomegranate... They also use compostable cups for their drinks. What struck me the most was The Birch Cafe allows pop ups. There was a woman selling baked goods. This directly competes with their business and they give her a space to grow her brand. It was very much a caring community feel. Of course I bought bakery to bring home.
