I just left this place, and I am extremely disappointed, especially because I arranged this visit…read moreas a birthday treat. Here's my experience: I booked the $140 package, which included a Nano consultation. I specifically chose this place for their birthday promotion--a free blowout if you came on your birthday. However, things went wrong from the start. The service itself was not bad, but they completely skipped the Nano consultation at the beginning. When I brought it up after the service had started, the tech quickly turned on the machine, showed me my scalp for a moment, and moved on to dry my hair, no analysis or personalized recommendations were provided. When it came time for my birthday blowout, things got even worse. The tech didn't know about it, so she fetched the front desk staff. The front desk lady acknowledged the promotion but said she couldn't do the blowout because she was about to clock out in 5 minutes. She handed the task to the tech, who admitted she didn't know how to do it. The front desk lady then gave a rushed demo with a Dyson and left. I was left trying to do my own hair. Other techs came by, but they said they couldn't help because they were busy with appointments. Even a manager from a neighboring store came over, apologized, and offered me 20% off my next service--but that didn't fix my ruined birthday experience. This service was far below the standard of similar services I've had elsewhere. I had the same treatment done in Thailand, and this was nothing compared to that. No one ensured the birthday blowout was honored, and the lack of organization was glaring. The phone was ringing, no one was at the front desk, and I ended up doing my own hair before leaving--without anyone noticing or resolving the issue. This was supposed to be a special treat, but instead, it was a very bad experience on my birthday. I regret not going to a more reputable salon like Modern Halo in Houston and cannot recommend this place. Also, I was so excited to do a Reel for them with my experience on my birthday, even took lots of videos. I got to say techs were so nice trying to fix the problem, totally understand is not their fault but management and the front desks fault

What an experience! Five stars, I wish I could leave more. I…read morehave been waiting months for this to open because I've wanted to try hair therapy for quite sometime, so I am so happy this spa exists now so close to home! Everyone that works there is lovely, absolutely everyone. Once you are checked in, they take you to a private dressing room and you have a towel that snaps, a robe and slippers. There is a gold basket to keep your clothes, undergarments, purse, etc. once dressed, they escort you to your station. I received the Aloe Treatment but I had also said I want it all! LOL! So, I also received a facial. From beginning to end is so a relaxing experience. I was so relaxed that I can't even remember what order to remember. There's a dry treatment where she will comb through your hair. Then, I believe that's when she applied the mask to my face with a cloth underneath. I had some sort of clay mask with a hot eye mask that connected behind the ears (love that!) . There were scalp massages, hair masks, rinsing. There was so much! Oh my goodness, my hair was so happy! At one point she gave me a shoulder/neck massage. Then my arms, hands, legs and feet. Applied lotion. At some point the mask was removed and a second one was placed after she did some eye ice globes (maybe after lol) and there was also a cold eye mask and I believe that was when I was getting the leg and foot massage. Afterwords, you're sat up and get a short back massage, some final pressure on the head and then taken back to get your hair dried. Afterwards you change, go up front to pay (don't forget to tip :)) and they provide you with hot tea. I feel like jello. It's been a few hours since I left and I am so relaxed, my skin is so hydrated and my hair is clean and healthy. Thank you ladies! -Dina

But, I made an appointment anyway for the following week as I was told there was no time available that day. I would not suggest coming to this establishment.

Afterwards I was offered a beverage. My choice was Prosecco. I didn't feel rushed at all. Once I had time to sip on my drink and take some videos and photos of the waiting room, she invited me to the treatment room. While she did my facial we chatted and laughed. Not only was so gentle, she was professional and well informed. I asked a lot of questions and she was super informative and encouraging. The products were great on my skin. I loved every second of it. I would recommend 10/10! I love supporting black owned businesses that have great customer services and deliver quality treatment. I scheduled my second treatment before I even left the building. That was my first facial but definitely not my last. Thank you so much Tasha for your insight knowledge and treatment!

My husband and I stood outside of the shop for about 15 minutes . we knocked on the door and no one answered. I called no one answer the phone. My husband knocked on the door and then someone came to the door. I just couldn't believe that she sat inside of the business and listen to us knock on the door until she got ready to open the door, I cannot support this. The other young lady was more interested in her cellphone than meeting the needs of her clients. Both young ladies are talented but imo they do not appreciate their clients. And by the way.. I drove 1 hr to get there. Beware.. do not prepay.. had I not prepaid I would've left.

I walked into Crazy Mama's Celestial Emporium with my friend Jennifer who told me about how wonderful Diana is, and my experience with her was one I'll never forget. She took the time to really get to know me, and I left feeling like I met a kindred spirit. I've worn the perfume she took so much care in making every day - when I put it on, I feel a sense of comfort and strength, like I'm putting on armor. I've practiced "wishing it in", and when negative thoughts creep into my mind - it has been more therapeutic then I could have ever imagined. I feel more relaxed and balanced than I have in a long time! Not to mention I've received countless compliments on the perfume! Quite a few good things have happened in the past few weeks since Diana helped me get into a good place... My relationship is in a great place - I can tell my boyfriend REALLY likes the perfume! I'm more relaxed and secure about where we're heading. My positive outlook and sense of self are having tangible effects with him - I have Diana to thank for that! Also I just got a dream job offer. I wished in success in work, and look what happened! I can barely believe it's real. I want to thank from the bottom of my heart. The afternoon at Crazy Mama's set me on the right path, and I hope everyone gets the opportunity to meet Diana - what a magical experience.

Her custom perfume made of oils and pheromones is so unique, there is literally nothing like it. When I wear my every day custom perfume, I get SO many compliments!!! It also makes me feel happy all day. Since it isn't alcohol based, it literally lasts all day with no fading. I've also had a "sexy" blend made before too, that stuff really worked. Diana is such a sweet lady. She will spend time with you to help you find exactly what you're looking for and what will compliment your natural scent. When I was pregnant, she made my custom perfume and blended with fractionated cococnut oil, so I could still wear my perfume! You have to try it. You will be hooked. I'm never going back to synthetic perfumes again!
