They say a good lawyer is worth it's weight in gold! That couldn't be more true. Well first I…read moretalked to Andrew and set up a consultation. Which was very easy to do. Had a court date in three weeks and I needed a good lawyer for my arraignment date. I knew that this was only arraignment. And usually nothing happens except pleading guilty or not guilty. Well long story short. Andrew didn't just sit around and wait while the other lawyers would try and cut in front of him. The San Francisco court house is chaos! He made sure we were heard as soon as possibly. And I didn't have to wait for hrs. Like I would have had to do if I had a public defender. Well the case got dismissed. And Andrew is going to help do the expulsion also. Totally a class act lawyer! Thank you Andrew!

As much as I always liked and relied on Yelp, apparently in a situation where both your wellbeing…read moreand your future depends on skills, dedication, and honesty of that one professional who will help you getting your life back to normal - Yelp stars might be misleading here and there. Long story short - got the temporary restraining order back in December 2024, wonderful choice of direction some people choose to solve business disputes. I looked around and picked Andrew as my counsel. Nice and friendly interview, practicing family/civil law, plus more than a hundred 5-star reviews (for an attorney) -- what else do you need, right? Besides, having backups of texts, emails, paperwork going back for more than three years and reading through utterly ridiculous affidavit filed against me, I haven't had a single worry on my mind. Until the final hearing 15 months later. and... The most disappointing, hurtful, and insufferable element in the outcome of this case is not the adjudication but rather - Andrew's covert yet egregious abuse of my trust - "I really want you win. I'm doing my best to make it happen. I know you are the good guy here" yadayadayada. - his persistent lying and gaslighting about pretty much everything case-related. "Did you read my email? - Yes, sure! - Ok, which point do you prefer? - Oh, I don't know yet, I'll read it again later". Of course he didn't read it because Mailtrack (the email tracking addon which shows whether an you sent got read or an attachment got opened, etc) I finally installed in Gmail just to see what's going on, it showed "not read yet" - he would open an email in question five to ten minutes after a nudge yet pay no attention to the attachments as if the evidence documents attached were the least of your concern (that turned to be the case after all). - his flagrant lack of even a modicum of professional integrity - he didn't pay attention to anything happening with my case, facing a rather aggressive counsel on the opposite side who's been bombarding me with the delays, contempts, motions this and motions that - he just attended hearings and gaslighted me about "there's nothing we can do here" - he constantly failed to even let me know about the new court documents filed by the opposing party - I had to set a reminder/alarm for myself to check the case log via court's website on a daily basis just to make sure I won't miss the new filings. - he picked twelve pieces of evidence (primarily business convos related) out of more than 70 available (one-on-one communications disproving each allegation one after another), told me I don't need witnesses, disregarded testimonies of witnesses on the opposite side, yeah.... - his lack of responsibility and preparedness illustrated by "I have no idea what's going on here" conduct in the courtroom where the commissioner felt compelled to raise a few objections herself to stop opposing counsel's inappropriate line of questioning. He was peacefully staring at the ceiling meanwhile. - his lack of self-reflection in regard to his mistakes or mostly shortcomings - he prefers to blame it all on everybody else around: petitioner, opposing counsel, judge, weather, and me of course (apparently I was too nervous and yet he had full list of my medical conditions and medications but didn't bother informing the commissioner about it). - his "it's your problem" attitude which became clearly evident when you failed to mumble out a single word to explain the reasoning for my remote participation (which has angered the judge beyond belief) at first evidentiary hearing, My mother had a stroke two days prior and after spending ~ 40 sleepless hours sitting in some waiting room at the CPMC Van Ness while she's been going through three separate cranial/brain surgeries. I kept him aware of each and every development, even the minor ones, sent him doctors' correspondence to show to the judge - he didn't bother until the hearing started and judge began yelling. - his complete obliviousness to opposing counsel's conduct and her complete disregard to attorney's candor rules. He hasn't even bothered to react to her literally screaming some despicable bs at the judge like "respondent's lying! He's not at any hospital! I know it because his car didn't leave the driveway in the last five days". Well, my car hasn't left the driveway for more than seven months - the battery's been dead ever since but.... rejoice! There's Uber and I did send even the freaking trips receipts. Nah, he didn't even bother to raise the question the source of info re: where my car is (not geoloc for sure, battery's _dead_ dead) - his unprofessional, childish tantrums where he would let himself to literally yell at me or ask me questions like "are you bipolar or is it OCD?" - and so on. To sum it up - if you are determined to snatch a life-destroying defeat from the jaws of victory (for the lack of better words) and pay a ton of $$$ for it, then Andrew is your top choice.

William on the other hand? no. I called him with a potential Lemon Law case. The ONLY reason he didn't take the case was because the source of potential dangerous fume entering car or leak had not been discovered yet by the 3 Kia Dealerships. 1 Independent shop verified it though but couldn't figure out where it was located. Under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (California Lemon Law): Kia does NOT have to successfully diagnose the problem for your claim to be valid. If they can't find or fix it after a reasonable number of attempts, that can still make the vehicle a lemon. California focuses on: Whether a defect exists that's covered under warranty Whether it substantially impairs use, value, or safety Whether Kia was given a reasonable number of repair attempts --not whether they figured out the root cause. What counts as a "reasonable number" in California? There's no strict universal number, but courts often use these guidelines: 2+ attempts if it's a serious safety issue (stalling, braking, etc.) 4+ attempts for non-safety issues 30+ total days in the shop for any warranty issue Even if every invoice says: "Could not duplicate" "No problem found" Those visits can still count. Why your situation can actually be strong Cases where dealers say "we can't find anything" often become good lemon law claims because: You consistently reported the same issue The manufacturer had multiple chances The problem was never fixed That legally looks like: They were unable to repair the vehicle--regardless of diagnosis I had a good case needless to say with TONS of documentation supporting it. What makes it worse is after a horrific situation occured the following day at the last dealership my car was at I called Deanna hysterical. I am disabled and also suffer from Autism so this break down was particulary awful. I needed kindness which Deanna provided. When William got on the phone he told me he still needed that problem found. That I cant sue people for being mean. And when I mentioned fraudulent documents being made from the dealership which falls under Common law fraud, state consumer protection acts, and specific regulations like the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Used Car Rule he still showed no interest and in a stern voice told me to take my business elsewhere. Would not recommend. I have several other lawyers interested in helping me now. I even filed the Lemon Law letter all by myself when I was asking for help. Would not recommended. Deanna- go open your own Law Firm you will be highly successful. Stay compassionate!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fatigue at having to deal with this sort of sickness, cancer. Saddened that so many of us have to deal with it. I decided not to lash out and set out on a mission to search for an attorney who handles such cases. I was very fortunate because it did not take me long to find attorney Devin Coyle. Attorney Coyle worked for months locating the parties he needed to locate. He genuinely cared about my case and was troubled by my story. I felt extremely relieved that my case was being handled by this particular attorney. This is why I know for a fact that if you find yourself in a situation where you've been harassed for racial, political or for some other reason listed under protected class, you should definitely reach out to Attorney Devin Coyle. I hope to never find myself needing an attorney for this purpose again but if I do ever find myself dealing with something similar or some of the same old thing, this is the Attorney I will be reaching out to.
