My experience with attorney Justin Hsiang was extremely disappointing…read more I contacted him for help with a legitimate legal dispute involving a defective vehicle repair and warranty issue. What I expected was competent legal support, clear direction, and meaningful advocacy. Instead, I experienced poor follow-through, minimal effort, and a lack of attention to detail. From early in the process, there were avoidable mistakes, including an incorrect VIN number in the original communication. In a vehicle-related legal dispute, that is not a small detail. Accuracy matters, and that mistake reflected what became a broader concern: I repeatedly felt like I had to push the matter forward myself. Rather than feeling represented, I felt like I was managing the attorney. Communication and follow-through were not at the level I expected, and the case did not appear to be handled with the urgency or diligence required. When the matter reached the point where litigation needed to be considered, it became clear to me that Justin was not the right attorney to carry the case forward. My concern is not simply that the outcome was unresolved. My concern is the pattern of limited effort, lack of attention to key facts, and failure to provide the level of advocacy I needed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Justin Hsiang for a matter that requires persistence, litigation readiness, or active case management.

I needed to create an LLC and then transfer a propery into the LLC, so I gave David a call…read more David was helpful, professional, and prompt. He did what he said he would do in a timely manner and his flat fee was reasonable and fair. The whole process was organized and clear. The binder he sent at the end of the process, with all of the LLC documents (along with a custom embosser seal with the name of our LLC!), is thorough. It has everything we need for referencing the details of our LLC. I will be recommending his services to friends/family. It's no wonder he has a 5 star average on Yelp.

Fortunately, our outcome with Julian was excellent and beyond what I had hoped for! Like many lawyers he's a really sharp, smart guy (CA and NY have notoriously tough bar exams both of which he passed), but what stood out the most was Julian's character. From the first contact you could tell that he wasn't in this for the career climbing game, he genuinely cares about his clients and helping people overall. He also has a great knowledge of SF's nuances and people, which was very helpful to us as longtime east coast residents. Did I mention he still somehow finds the time and energy to do advocacy/social good work outside of his day to day? Thank you, Julian, for the professional insight and local knowledge to confidently take on our first (and hopefully only) experience in court.

They said they received calls from him months later to schmooze so the attorney gives him business so they concluded he definitely knew where his bread and butter was coming from. He SUCKS! He was not at all neutral and definitely took side. Wouldn't let me get two words out but allowed other side to say everything they wanted to.
