Useless, Clueless and Dishonest. I had an issue with a contractor refusing to finish work already paid for. After hiring Justin, I ended with an uneven floor, a crooked shower door, a leaky faucet and a wall with open wires instead of an outlet. Despite better judgement, I gave Justin another chance, to help deal with a roofer that installed a faulty roof. He had me contract a construction defect expert (who was not cheap) that I later found out was completely unnecessary. When the construction defect expert submitted his report, Justin then withdrew and disengaged himself from my case, but not before charging for 8 hours of service. He not only didn't do anything, he cost me a lot of unnecessary money and time and charged me a ton of money for doing absolutely nothing. I had a consumer dispute, and after providing Justin with the information he wrote up a demand letter to the company which included a comprehensive legal analysis. The demand letter was ignored by the company, however, I used it as a basis for my small claims case (where you can't bring lawyers). Not long after filing my case, the company reached out to me and offered a settlement. The small claims case alone might not have been enough, but I strongly believe due to the well-crafted demand letter (i.e., the company knew I had strong legal counsel) that they felt resolving it out of court was in their best interest. I've called other attorneys before with other matters through the legal plan, and they hardly lift a finger -- I think many of them just try to upsell or pick up a quick buck through the plan.
